Closer - Albert Laine

Albert Laine is a Finnish animation artist, who learned animation filmmaking under the guidance of Priit Pärn in the Turku University of Applied Sciences and proceeded to graduate with a master's degree in animation from Aalto University - School of Arts, Design and Architecture.
Albert's body of work spans from television ads to university lecturing and artistic auteur work. He was the Producer of Animatricks International Animation Festival for four years. Albert is the current Chairman of the Finnish Animation Guild and a member of the National Council for Audiovisual Art. Albert is also a member of the ASIFA international board.

Stygien - Tamia Berenice

Tamia Berenice is a thesis student in the Image and Sound Design program (UBA), filmmaker and photographer. She worked for four years at the audiovisual production company Lumineida Films where she worked as director of photography. Her individual projects, both in short films such as Mario (2018), Óbito (2019), Estigia (2021) and Etérea (2022), were selected at international festivals such as the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, FIC.UBA, SWIFF festival and Lift off Sessions, among others. She has also been published in different international fashion magazines such as Artells magazine, Gezno magazine and GMARO magazine, among others.

Steam Hammer - Carla Geronimi

Carla Geronimi is a Swiss artist and filmmaker who creates moving image works that showcase imaginary places, fictional stories and creature-like characters. Her works principally explore dreams, memory and identity with the use of non-coherent storylines and absurd narratives. Also drawn to ideas around uncanniness, anthropomorphism and sensory experiences, Carla draws her inspiration from symbols, myths and inanimate objects.

After graduating from a BA (Hons) in Sound Art & Design at University of the Arts London, she is currently undertaking a MA in Fine Art Media at the Slade School of Fine Art and a Postgraduate Diploma in Location Sound Recording for Film and Television at the National Film and Television School, both in England.

Io - Antonio Michele Stea

Born in 1991, he has been interested in theatre and cinema since he was a child, participating in school workshops. At the age of 16, he wrote and directed his first short film. In 2014, he graduated from the Accademia del Cinema Ragazzi Enziteto (Bari), a course that allowed him to learn and perfect techniques related to the different fields of cinematography. During this period he worked on various sets, specialising in filming and video editing. As a result of these experiences, he began to make a series of film products, including short films, documentaries and video clips. He dedicated himself to the study of animation techniques, stop-motion and puppet animation. He won the "Best Short Film" award with the animated short "Liminal" at The Next Generation Short Film Festival 2018, the first prize with the video clip "Grim July" at Cineconcerto 2019.
He is currently working on several stop-motion works.

Trine Omø- The Wonder ( Figurines)

This Music video by Trine Omø was created 23 years ago for the undergrund band Figurines. There were absolutly no budget. Trine printet some photos of the band members faces and made som masks for her friends. The video is basically one big chaotic mixture of impulsiv ideas and eksperiments with animation, stop-motion and other tecnics. Trine was 22 years when creating the video.

Today Trine is still playing around with her camera, instruments and art stuff. She is a songwriter, musician, outsider artist and soon she will publish her first novel about ADHD.

Figurines is an indie rock band from Denmark, formed in the mid-1990s. The band released their first EP, The Detour, in 2001 and their first full-length album, Shake a Mountain, in 2004. The band began to receive national attention in Denmark around the time of the full-length release, and began touring Germany in 2003. Their second full-length, Skeleton, was released in 2005 on Danish label Morningside Records and German label Pop-U-Loud, and on US label The Control Group in 2006.

They are co-creating the series "Mauvais Genre" and "Exit Ticket," both in development, and have contributed to "Unit 42" Season 3.
In short films, "A Happy Marriage" was a finalist at the Lille European Film Festival, while "The Father, the Son and the Sane" won awards at the Brussels Short Film Festival.
They have also directed notable documentaries, including "Portrait of Nobel, Christian de Duve" and "The Energy of Hope," and co-authored the documentary magazine "Moda Moda," which aired on RTBF and TV5 Monde.

Brush Me - Nikolaus Janutsch

Nikolaus Jantsch is a media artist based in Vienna. He graduated with distinction in 2006. Since 2012, he has been the head of the animation department at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, where he also studied. In 2016, he established the "Angewandte Animation Award" for students at the "under radar" festival. Since 2019, he has served as the animation festival manager at the Pixel Vienna Festival. Additionally, he is a member of the postrock band Thalija.
