LEGO Animal Crossing is back in August, after a one year hiatus!

Here's a review of 77059 Timmy and Tommy's Fun Day Out, which introduces a new buildable character and diorama format to LEGO Animal Crossing.

Despite there being no minifigures, the chibi Timmy and Tommy aesthetic works incredibly well as a standalone display model that Animal Crossing fans will enjoy building and putting on display.

Could this also be the final LEGO Animal Crossing set? It's a little bittersweet for fans of the cosy game and LEGO theme if this truly is a farewell to LEGO Animal Crossing.

LEGO has officially revealed 40908 Restaurants of the World: Greece, the third in a series of 4 quarterly LEGO Gift with Purchase models that celebrates cuisine and restaurant designs from across the world!

40908 Restaurants of the World: Greece will be available from 11 August 2026 onwards, and will be a free GWP (Gift with Purchase) when you spend US$180 / AU$295 / £160 / €180 NZD$320 on LEGO.com while stocks last. This is a great time to pick up any of the new August 2026 LEGO releases if you've been waiting for a substantial promo!

For the 3rd Restaurants of the World set, we travel from Mexico to the sunny coastal enclaves of Greece with this rendition of a traditional Greek taverna. These are typically a small, family-run restaurant serving traditional Greek dishes, and are staple in most Greek cities and towns.

This is the 3rd quarterly GWP from LEGO this year, following Mexico and Japan, and we only have one more to go!

LEGO has officially unveiled the big LEGO Harry Potter exclusive for 2026, 76476 Ministry of Magic - Collectors’ Edition which will be released on 29 August 2026.

Why the odd date? Well this year is the 25th anniversary of the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone movie, and to celebrate the milestone, there will be cinema screenings of the Harry Potter movies around the world, so the LEGO release ties in with that weekend.

This 3,491-piece model lets fans build a large and detailed minifigure-scale Ministry of Magic, a tall model that includes the upper street level of London, the Ministry of Magic's iconic green building, and the Hall of Prophecies in the Department of Mysteries below.

The set comes with 14 minifigures (plus a golden wizard statue), and will be released on 29 August 2026 (via LEGO Insiders early access), and will be available exclusively from LEGO.com or your local LEGO Store.

Big LEGO Harry Potter exclusives typically come with a Gift with Purchase but LEGO has not revealed anything at this time, which is a little strange.
