This isn’t anti-GLP-1 content.

It’s proof that there are multiple paths.

Because if you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know I spent years feeling stuck.

I wasn’t just carrying extra weight.

I was carrying inflammation.

High blood pressure.

An elevated resting heart rate.

Constant fatigue.

And honestly, a lot of frustration.

Today I’m 50lbs down.

My blood pressure is normal.

My CRP is normal.

My resting heart rate is 55.

And while I still have goals I’m working toward, I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come.

Not because of the number on the scale.

Because of what my health markers are telling me.

The scale tells one story.

Your body tells another.

What’s a non-scale victory you’re proud of?

Old me would’ve stepped on the scale looking for validation.

New me is trying to pay attention to the things the scale can’t measure.

This week I:

🏋️ Hit a deadlift PR

🏃 Started my running program

💪 consistent gym routine

❤️ Kept showing up even when I wasn’t perfect

Would I still love to see the scale moving?

Of course.

I’m still chasing Onederland.

But I’m also trying to remember why I started this journey in the first place.

It wasn’t just to weigh less.

It was to feel better.

Move better.

Keep up with my kids.

And build a body that’s capable of doing things I once thought weren’t for me.

What’s one non-scale victory you’re celebrating lately?

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it is EXHAUSTING when your brain never shuts up about food.

What should I eat?

Did I eat too much?

Should I have ordered something else?

Am I actually hungry?

Do I start over tomorrow?

Like… can we please discuss something else? 😂

When everyone started talking about the shot, I completely understood why.

Because when you’ve spent years thinking about food all day, the idea of finally getting some peace sounds pretty incredible.

For me personally, I was looking for a natural option first.

That’s what led me to CCK option.

And one of the biggest reasons I stuck with it was because it helped me feel like food wasn’t running the entire show in my head anymore.

Not overnight.

Not perfectly.

But enough that I finally had some breathing room.

Enough that I wasn’t thinking about food from the minute I woke up until the minute I went to bed.

And honestly?

That mental freedom has been just as life-changing as the 50lbs I’ve lost.

If you’ve ever felt like your brain won’t stop thinking about food, you’re my kind of people. 💛

For the longest time, I thought everyone thought about food the way I did.

What am I eating next?

Did I eat too much?

Should I have ordered something different?

How do I make up for this later?

Did I just ruin the day?

I thought it was a willpower problem.

I thought I needed more discipline.

I thought I just needed to try harder.

What I’ve learned is that when my body isn’t supported, the food noise gets LOUD.

The cravings get stronger.

The mental gymnastics come back.

And the old habits start knocking on the door.

One of the biggest reasons I’ve stayed with the supplements I use is because they’ve become a tool that helps me feel more in control around food and less consumed by it.

Which makes my current situationship with consistency even more ridiculous. 😂

Welcome to the messy middle.

The phase where you’ve lost enough weight that your old clothes fit weird…

but not enough weight that you’re ready to spend actual money on a new wardrobe. 😂

So naturally I’ve decided my summer fashion budget will be spent exclusively in places where I can also buy bananas and paper towels.

Your fat friend is:
✔️ 50lbs down
✔️ still figuring it out
✔️ still not at her goal
✔️ wearing the dress anyway

Because I’ve spent too many years waiting until I was smaller to wear the thing, take the picture, go to the event, or feel confident.

We’re not doing that anymore.

Life happens now.

So…

Which dress wins?

1️⃣ Costco denim dress with pockets
2️⃣ The athletic dress that made me slightly question my life choices
3️⃣ The athletic dress I’d happily live in all summer

The older I get, the more I realize that knowing what to do and actually doing it are two completely different skills.

I’ve spent years researching hormones, inflammation, emotional eating, habits, mindset, weight loss, supplements… you name it.

The information was never the problem.

The consistency was.

Which is honestly ridiculous considering one of the biggest reasons I started taking these supplements in the first place was because they helped quiet the food noise for me.

Less obsessing.

Less thinking about food all day.

Less feeling like I was constantly negotiating with myself.

And somehow I’m still out here ghosting the very routine that helped me lose 50lbs. 😂

I think that’s true for a lot of women.

Most of us aren’t struggling because we don’t know what works.

We’re struggling because life gets busy.

We put ourselves last.

We fall out of routine.

We get discouraged.

And then we make it mean something about who we are.

So if you’ve been beating yourself up lately for not being perfect, consider this your reminder:

You don’t need a new plan.

You probably just need to reconnect with the one that already worked.

What’s one thing you KNOW helps you that you’ve been avoiding lately? 👇

And if you’ve ever wondered what I take that helped quiet the food noise, comment SUPPORT and I’ll send you the details. 💛
