The 19th of sept was an awesome and great memories for me, I had the opportunity to a one on one session at cafe curious Copenhagen international citizens day.

First when I arrived, I was told that I had been fully booked and most of the lovely souls who wanted to talk with me had to shift their slot today the 20th of sept. What amazed me was the welcoming spirit...First I heard oh THE GREAT FAMOUS DELIGHT EVERYONE WANTS TO SPEAK WITH YOU' from the volunteers and coordinators who were making the environment and session calming and conducive for everyone...I was shocked but also happy that i could have the opportunity to share my ideas, touch and impact others with my experience in living in Denmark.

On my next post i will be sharing about a lovely lady coordinator Amal who made my day more fun...she showered me with so much praises and admired my dress sense.

As a proud Nigerian, I am proud and delighted to be part of this year's Copenhagen international citizens day 19th and 20th sept 2025 as a speaker at Cafe curious.

Haven't lived in Denmark for over a decade, and also having the privileged of taken the danish language educations plus other relevant opportunities i have had, i would say, it's great and best experience for me with the Danish system and culture.

I have been attending international citizens day celebrations for the past 3 years and I bet this year's edition will be more transformative with lots of great speakers and exhibitions.

If you are an international living in Denmark show up tomorrow Friday at 12:00-15:00 and Saturday 10:00-16

On October 1st 1960 Nigeria gained her independence, that was a milestone date that marked the British Colonial rule and the beginning of the Federation of Nigeria. Since then, it has been celebrated worldwide by Nigerians.

It's another year and season to celebrate our independence. 1st October 2025 🇳🇬 our nation turns 65th which will be celebrated globally.

Queen Phinadon, is a top member of many organizations in the diaspora, including Africa Women In Europe and Nigerian Union in Denmark. She's the founder of Phinadon Touching Lives Foundation, a charity organization catering to the needs of less privileged women, children, and youth in society. She's also the convener of Phinadon Humanitarian Awards and publisher of Phinadon Magazine/Media Executive.

Ambassador Phinadon holds the title of "Ezi Ada 1 of Umukabia", a title bestowed on her by Abia State Town Union Association, Lagos branch (Women Wing), in recognition of her Immence contribution to the development of the union and Abia State in general.
