This shirt/jacket got me quite a few compliments every time I’ve worn it so far, alongside questions about where it’s from. And my answer usually surprises many. I picked this one up from the H&M Atelier spring collection, and apart from this piece, I’ve gotten a couple more from the line over time that actually stayed in my wardrobe and ended up in my rotation quite often.

But to the point... This just proves that a good piece doesn’t necessarily need to come with an expensive price tag. The key is finding a good cut, decent quality and materials, and especially something that fits well, not only in proportions, but also your own style.

And the watch here?! That’s another story. What a beaut.

Another simple fit.

Got myself a couple of Henley tees lately, which also seem to be having a bit of a moment right now (but that’s only a good thing!).

Definitely basics that gonna stay in my wardrobe, same as tank tops do. This has become my current go-to option when it’s not warm enough for me to pull a tank top.

Plus, they’re just a little more interesting than a basic crew neck tee… just sayin’

Had the chance to spend some time with the Longines HydroConquest, the brand’s take on a modern diver watch.

So how are we vibing with this one?

The model recently got a revamp, went through slight design changes and now comes in two sizes. Not only in 42mm, but in the 39mm as well. Just the perfect size for many wrists. And then there are the colour combinations too. These two might be my favourites.

Basically, this is my uniform for the whole spring. A tank top and a cardigan. And when summer hits, I’ll just switch to a shirt.

Anyway, in focus in this post is the new HydroConquest 39 that I’ve been wearing for the past couple of weeks. Is this the best-looking affordable sports watch? You tell me. I’m all ears.

Simple as that. As always, right?

Wearing a jacket that’s been getting a lot of compliments lately... and I do understand why.

A little “insider” styling tip: since this jacket is a bit longer (even if brands would still call it a regular length…), it looks best when it’s fully opened. And this applies in general. Worn open, it lets you show where the trousers end and the top starts, creating the right proportions. What makes this jacket work so well is the double zip, which lets you zip it in the middle, still showing the end of the trousers.

Another simple fit. But listen, or rather… read the whole caption below.

Let’s put aside the pants that I get compliments on most of the time I wear them. This post is more about suiting and a fit in general. Sometimes, when I look back at how I used to dress, it’s interesting to see how strict I was, following all the ‘industry standards’ and rules. Only to realise a couple of years ago that while some rules should apply where it matters, in the end, it’s about dressing the way you want.

So, wearing this blazer might raise questions for some. Is it too big? Yes, it is, it’s oversized. But I feel very good in it, boxy / no boxy... Can someone pull it off better? No... hahaha. And that’s exactly the point. It’s about feeling good in what you’re wearing. Don’t let trends or others dictate your style. Let your personality and who you are speak through what you wear. Period.
