Meet Josefine Skov – A Copenhagen-based composer whose delicate soundscapes have been making waves in film and television. 🌊✨

With a Bachelor’s degree in Sound Design from Sonic College and a Master’s in Film Composition from The Danish National Academy of Music, Josefine has quickly become a rising star in the industry.

From winning the prestigious Ekko Shortlist Award for Best Sound Design on the horror film Nøcken to scoring Norwegian Offspring, which took home the top prize at the La Cinef competition at the Cannes Film Festival, her work continues to push boundaries, earning widespread acclaim.

In 2024, Josefine was awarded the Carl Nielsen & Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Composer Talent Prize. She also composed the score for the documentary ‘Once Upon A Time On Twitch’, which won Best Documentary at the Ekko Shortlist Awards and received a Robert Award nomination.

Beyond her film and TV work, Josefine collaborates with our sister company, StereoRoyal, and we’re incredibly proud to represent her. Her 2023 debut album, ‘Ambient Bells’, has already been featured in several international productions.
