Soul Stew are DJs and community builders hailing from Norwich, they have spent the past nine years contributing to their city’s musical landscape and underground club culture, who’ve world-class DJs in intimate spaces, creating rare, up-close experiences with icons like Sadar Bahar, Floating Points, Mark Grusane, Marcellus Pittman, Ash Lauryn, Volcov, GE-OLOGY and Red Greg.
Influenced by the pioneering DJs of Chicago, Detroit and the Disco heydays of ‘70s and ’80s New York. Soul Stew’s expansive record collection spans everything from Disco, House, Techno, Funk, Jazz, UK Garage and beyond.
At the heart of every Soul Stew event is a deep love for underground, DIY spaces and a commitment to forging real connections on the dance floor. Whether you encounter them in a tucked-away Norwich venue or a major festival stage, Soul Stew’s sets are a journey through dance music’s past, present, and future - an invitation to celebrate the roots and keep the rhythm of the community alive.

Sonic soulsearcher Dee Brown melds any and all music emanating soul making you move and feel. Sneaking into clubs at thirteen and never looking back since, he has contributed to Danish underground dance music culture for 15+ years as a DJ, curator, promoter, and label owner. As the head of the Creak Inc. imprint, Dee pushes soulful music by Danish artists across genres spanning house, contemporary jazz, soul, techno, acid, r&b and broken beat from Astrid Engberg, Nejrup, Jeremy Troy and Terry Tester. Besides his label, he hosts the All We Need parties with world renowned house dancer Marie Kaae bringing world-class DJs as Sassy J, Errol & Alex Rita, Deon Jamar and Julion De’Angelo to intimate dances in Copenhagen.
