What’s happening in the US right now feels so far away, yet on social media, I feel like I’m right there in the protesting crowds.
Scrolling through social media has made me feel all kinds of ways - angry, anxious, scared and overwhelmed - yet it’s so powerful that we’re able to amplify and support communities that need to be heard globally.
Looking after our mental health is so important in a time, where we’re fighting against social injustice, racial inequality and a pandemic. This is for anyone, who feel overwhelmed, but who still wants to help or for those who don’t know where to start. Know that change starts from within. While you’re taking action, voicing your opinion and supporting in whichever way you can remember to listen, learn and take care of yourself and the people around you.
