OVL is putting the finishing touches on Overlord’s biography Accidental Electronic Heroes — a story about the formation of the Nordic region’s first techno band, the internal conflicts within the group, and the challenges of reaching the top of the U.S. charts as an independent band on a major label. The biggest mistake OVL made was never allowing themselves to be photographed or filmed. That’s why we’re reaching out to you now! If you happen to have a photo or a piece of footage of OVL that we may use in Accidental Electronic Heroes, please don’t hesitate to contact us here on Facebook. The book will be released in April, when we’ll play a one-off concert as a book launch party — where the book will also be signed.

OVL are huge fans of Ghibli and manga, and they made a pilgrimage to the Ghibli Studio in Tokyo.
There, they had a dream-like experience playing with Totoro and riding the Catbus! 🌟🚋🎶
