Today I share a picture captured in Odense — shot on a quiet April day this year. Today I share a picture which I captured in Hamburg — shot on Christmas Eve in 2024 while wandering the city streets. Instead of the usual holiday crowds, I stumbled upon something quieter yet striking: a dancer practicing moves alone in a passage.

This frame leans into classic street photography — strong architectural lines , ceiling patterns guiding the eye, and a fleeting human presence giving rhythm to the structure. The contrast between geometry and movement, stillness and energy, makes the scene come alive.

In collaboration with International Community Odense, starting from today and for the next week, I’m taking over their Instagram account with full creative freedom. Through daily photo posts, I’ll be sharing glimpses of my life as an expat in Odense—capturing not only everyday moments but also my personal vision and photographic interpretation of the city. The goal is to connect with the international community by telling visual stories that highlight both the charm and the hidden corners of Odense. All photos will be shared on their Instagram, as well as on my own Instagram and Facebook.

Today, I’m kicking off the first round with photos from my visual journey through Odense for this project. 📸

This series was shot today, Tuesday 15 April, during a walk with my dog Haki and his partner-in-crime, Maia 🐕🐾. We took a slow loop through some of the city’s quieter corners — the kind of places that don’t scream for attention but stay with you. All 20 photos were taken with my iPhone 14 Pro 📱. No heavy gear — just good light, good company, and a sharp eye.

As a photographer, I value honesty in an image — and that includes the unfiltered, everyday moments. These shots are a reflection of how I see Odense when I’m off the clock, just taking in the atmosphere with my dog and letting the city speak for itself 🌆.

📸💥 (PART 2/2) One-Day Escape: Flensburg🚆🇩🇪

This past Sunday (1st Sept.), Haki and I took off on a quick one-day trip from Odense to Flensburg, with a train switch in Kolding. As soon as we arrived, we realized the city was in full swing with a half-marathon happening—streets packed with energy and color.

The perfect backdrop for some street photography. 💪🏃‍♂️
We hit up Holm Street, checked out the gritty charm of the Eastern Old Town, and took in the action down by the Harbour. The city had a raw, authentic vibe that I wanted to capture through my lens.

To top it off, we jumped on a mini cruise from Flensburg, sailing through the Flensburger Förde to Strand Glücksburg. We spent a solid two hours there, soaking in the views and exploring the area.

📸💥 (PART 1/2) One-Day Escape: Flensburg 🚆🇩🇪

This past Sunday (1st Sept.), Haki and I took off on a quick one-day trip from Odense to Flensburg, with a train switch in Kolding.
