NEWS FROM BEHIND THE SCENES
We are pleased to share these exciting news! Irina Ignata will be joining our team from tomorrow, July 1st, as our new Manager of Social Media Communication!

This also means that we are saying a heartfelt “auf wiedersehn” to our highly valued social media communications manager, Frederikke Kampmann, who has been running the accounts for the past year and a half. She will still remain on our roster as a singer. Here are a few words from Frederikke:

“Dear Friends and Followers of the Ascolta Artists page. It has given me tremendous joy to be able to create content for all of the wonderful artists in this agency!

However, next season I am taking on more singing related work and thus feeling the need to put my focus there, I have to part with the role of social media manager of this page for now. Fortunately, Mezzo-soprano Irina Ignata will be taking over from me already from tomorrow July 1st, and I can’t wait to see all the content she is going to create!

Thank you to all the wonderful collaborators and artists! It’s been my honor and a privilege to connect with you all. It’s such a joy to follow and support what you do, and I will of course continue to do so from my own accounts.

Mezzo-soprano Anastasiya Martyniuk takes the stage as the fiery Carmen, and soprano Aistė Pilibavičiūtė sings her pious counterpart Micaëla!

Soprano Johanna Nylund stuns as Mary in 'Die Herzogin von Chigago' at Landestheater Detmold! 💃✨

With the season coming to a close, we wanted to highlight soprano Johanna Nylund’s portraying of the character Mary, in Marilyn Monroe inspired costumes, as the absolute center of attention in Emmerich Kálmán’s operetta ‘Die Herzogin von Chicago’. In the life of a freelance artist, some days can be busier than others. Today is one of those days for baritone Teit Kanstrup. He will be starting his day with the lovely Ensemble Storstrøm / Danish Chamber Players as the soloist in their Summer Gala concerts in Næstved, and afterwards he will head to Teaterøen, to sing in ‘Les Indes Galantes’ in the Copenhagen premiere of this opera rarity by Rameau for the Festival Stenbroens Barokdage.
