Danmark🇩🇰 sætter et bemærkelsesværdigt forsvar sammen med de andre nordiske lande🔴

Dear all. A short status from here. This evening I have my Nordic colleagues from Finland, Norway and Sweden for dinner at my own home, after we had a meeting earlier in the State Ministry.

We have always stood together in the Nordic countries. And with the new and more unpredictable reality in which we are facing, good and close alliances and friendships have only become more important.

At our meeting today we discussed our regional defence and security cooperation. We share the seriousness of the situation. And I myself have no doubt that defense and security will and should continue to have high priority in Denmark, in the Nordic countries and in the rest of Europe.

I hear from several people - including many of you who write to me - that the situation in the world can make you unsafe. I understand that very well. We must remember that Denmark is not alone. We have several close allies with whom we share values. And we belong to a continent that we are doing well to make even stronger. It's an important task for the government and for me as a prime minister. This applies to the military. But that also applies economically and technologically.

Tomorrow I'm off to Poland to attend the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
