Mastercard Lighthouse 2025 Showcase and Spring Finale Was at Latitude59 in Tallinn.

This spring 2025, MasterCard has collaborated with total 20 leading companies across fintech, fintech-enablement, and impact tech.

The three finalists of each program were chosen for their progress in the program, innovation, partnership readiness, and impact potential.

Former Estonian President Ilves and
MEP Boeselager Discussed the Future of Europe

- "It's always a challenge for smaller entities, even small nations. We need to leverage our power of delivery," remarked Toomas Hendrik Ilves, former President of Estonia.

According to MEP Damian Boeselager, Europe needs to digitalize the cross-border hiring process to further streamline its job market. Other key areas of focus include health and mental health. Beyond digitalization, robust infrastructure is essential for big data.

The Victory Was Shared by Three Winning Pitches
at the Latitude59 Business Event This Year

At the international startup conference Latitude59 held in Tallinn, the 2025 victory was shared by three companies. Investments ranging from €175,000 to €250,000 will be made in Estonian green energy solutions developer MarkeDroid, Latvian construction startup Adventum Tech, and Lithuanian defense technology company Luna Robotics.

We have a new Chronicles series, "Founders Unplugged," where we interview founders and key personnel of innovative companies, to hear their thoughts on the event we're attending or dive into other spontaneously chosen topics. So, at 2024 Slush we chatted with tens of people, and Veera Siivonen, Timo Poijärvi and Jukka Tuhkanen were the ones we highlighted in these chronicle series.
