Vicious is beyond thrilled to welcome COUNTERMARCH to the Vicious Records family!

Their upcoming debut album, "Skin of Perception" is a genre-warping journey through ambient dread, horror-hip-hop, and gothic country — a raw, cinematic universe where mistakes aren’t flaws, but fuel.

Countermarch consists of Arsene Survie (Deadpan, Syringe) and Martin Funder (Deadpan, Music by Idiots), both driven by a passion for simple, manifesting rhythms shaped by dogmatic boundaries between context, form, and error. This Copenhagen duo redefines imperfection as poetry.

COUNTERMARCH doesn’t just push boundaries — they erase them. Stay tuned! It’s about to get beautifully strange.

Adrian B. Brendstrup who last year released the magnificent noise album "Impressions of Post-War Consumerism" with his project NaÏ-Kobra Prospect is currently completing his master's thesis in Musicology at the University of Copenhagen.

His research focuses on the aesthetics and spatial perception of noise music, and he is currently conducting a listening-based survey as part of the project.

The survey consists of listening to three short noise compositions and answering ten brief questions for each piece regarding your listening experience.

Your participation would be of great value and greatly appreciated. It takes approximately 10 -15 minutes to complete. No musical or academic background is required to take part, anyone is welcome to participate.

DANSK LYD 1 has been out for a month today. What a great reception for such a specific art form and genre. In general this release has been a pleasure to organize and the lineup of creative artists on this release has been an honor to assemble.
