Fallen Metropolis welcomes Brook Haven with an unique EP excursion into a vortex of styles and genres on the leftfield electronic spectrum.

Born and raised in the freezing humidity of Venice, Brook Haven is the new moniker of Italian sound designer Marco Cella. Blending a wide array of influences, the sonic result is a mixture of minimalistic leftfield techno, nightbus garage and dense dreampunk. Inharmonic textures combine themselves with complex earcandy beats.

Fallen Metropolis is proud to present the return of our dear friend from Tbilisi, Georgia: Rati Baramadze aka RTNH

"Tkeshi" marks RTNH’s return after a year since last release. This ten-track LP, inspired by RTNH’s performance at the TKESHI Festival, brings hypnotic rhythms together with experimental sound design, drawing on the energy of the forest.

The album begins with “Snow Leaf,” an ambient piece that sets a calm tone, allowing space for detailed textures and evolving layers. Tracks like “River Swell” and “Whispering Shadows” push further into experimental ambient territory. These tracks focus on exploring sound itself, building tension and depth that draws listeners into a deeper experience. The sounds of the forest are rethought and abstracted, woven into the music in subtle, non-literal ways, giving the album an organic yet futuristic feel.

With “Transition State,” the album shifts, introducing hypnotic techno alongside experimental electronic textures. Tracks “Pulse of the Forest” and “Grasshopper” dive fully into hypnotic techno, driven by deep, repetitive rhythms and steady basslines, inviting the listener into a rhythmic trance.

“Dancing Frogs” shifts toward breakbeat and jungle rhythms, with complex patterns that keep the momentum moving forward, while “Humans Spotted” brings back the hypnotic techno energy, maintaining a steady, engrossing flow. As the album winds down, “Fading Light” returns to experimental ambient, creating a contrast to the earlier intensity, and the final track, “Outro” closes the journey with experimental electronic textures that leave a lasting impression of RTNH’s creative depth.

Throughout the album, RTNH demonstrates a precise and detailed approach to sound design, using tones, textures, and rhythms to build a journey that shifts between introspective moments and powerful energy.

We are proud to welcome back Kagami Smile aka Ryan Hill to the Fallen Metropolis with seven new original tracks, exploring ambient techno and drone territories.

Kagami Smile is from an industrial city a few hours from Chicago. He takes influence from shoegaze records as well as minimal techno labels such as Chain Reaction and Modern Love. His most recent output of music focuses on minimal meditative synthworks and strong nods to Japanese video game soundtracks as well as the concept of liminal spaces.
His music reflects a series of recurring dreams had since 2017, that of a missed moment with a stranger.

Bufo Bureau returns to the Fallen Metropolis with a fresh summer EP accompanied by exciting remixes by label regulars like Gjoll, F.Hannibal, Sukkube, Young Faith and others. This is the first album of new Bufo Bureau works since the short EP "Contact" (Fallen Metropolis 2022) and contains deeply personal and important works by the producer.

"Nobody truly knows the origin of the cosmos or of abstracts creations like art. Maybe the answer is logical and scientific. Maybe it is deeply spiritual. Maybe there is no answer, we just do not know. The very notion of something being unexplainable is both scary and awe-inspiring in the same time and leaves so much room for creativity.

"Creation Myth" is a special album for me because it represents a soundtrack to transitional states, intentionally full of light melodies and floating atmospheres to provide contrast to dark emotional states I found myself in. Creating this album has been a therapeutic process and a window into a magical world of creation which I spent most of my past in, and hopefully will continue to in the future".

Self-released in 2022, now available for the first time on cassette.

Polarne Ptice (Polar Birds) are musical duo from Rijeka, Croatia, composed of vocalist Vedran Burul and instrumentalist Srđan Galić, formed in 2020. Lately with an additional band member - a guitarist Damjan Babić from Belgrade, Polarne Ptice are writing inventive pieces with simple, yet profound lyrics over layers of analog synthesizer drones, pads and effects and distinctive guitar and drum loops. The band's sound is related to drone-rock, post-punk and ambient/noise, based on live playing and sampling analog synthesizers, along with melodic singing. Their self-titled debut album on Fallen Metropolis brings eight songs which capture the essence of Polarne Ptice sound.

Köln based, Italian born Stefano Ugliano joins the Fallen Metropolis with 'Refactored Ontologies'

"I've been making music for way more than half of my life, and yet I have the impression that only a few of my tracks, scattered across oh so many great and not-so-great releases, really tell something about me.
In a sense, I realize I don't know much about the real me either. Not enough to understand what has been going on for the last many years, which is what this (album? collection? journal?) can hopefully help me with. A compendium to therapy? A audioguide to whatever the hell?
These tracks are exercises in introspection, reflection, expression. I challenged myself to avoid whatever I felt already too comfortable with, at least for the first iteration.

Step one: gather and generate. The same sound elements then return over and over in different parts of the release, repurposed and recontextualized. Some are purely musical, others have a personal meaning: voices of dear ones, quotes from movies, or sounds stolen from people that probably forgot about me. I stole them the same way you steal a glimpse through a crack in the door and save it forever in your memory, playing it over and over until you can't tell anymore what is reality and what is fantasy. A summer day that has never been, whose colors I know perfectly but not through my own eyes. Blue. “Our blank selves flowing through life and getting stained”.

Step two: reframe, reproduce and return. I can’t hold a rifle, I don’t know how to blow up a tank. I wish my music could be a molotov launched from the right side of history. All this rage sublimating into frustration, what do I do with it?

I try to tell my story, first of all to myself. To find a meaning for a past that somewhere makes no sense, to learn to live in full a Present that is blooming with happiness.
And to accept the fact that there's no such thing as an Eternal Sunshine. The however many days of Summer have long gone, and I only now understand.
Although I probably don't, and that's fine. You were right once again.
And yet, a faint echo of all what will have been "me" might one day still resonate in the ruins of the Fallen Metropolis. It takes some ego
