Beretta 500
500 years. From a sale to the Venetian State in 1526 to a global conglomerate in 2026, Beretta has proven its worth as a solid partner for both private and government buyers of arms for five centuries.
This year Beretta celebrates the 500 years anniversary with loads of new products.
I had the opportunity to lay my hands on them at the factory and try some of them on the range. Some are not yet released to the public, but I had the pleasure of shooting a SL3 500-edition 20 gauge, that fit me perfectly, and made me the shot I always hoped to be ;-)
I shot a pistol, that made me feel like Clint Eastwood - it certainly made my day - and I put more than 30 rounds of .308 WIN through different BRX'es and never missed a target.
Beretta is not only about guns anymore, even though it IS their backbone. Clothes, customer service, gadgets, ammunition, scopes you name it. Beretta knows, that in order to keep their position as the world leader in guns for hunting and competition, they have to offer more - and go the extra mile.
To me, it looks like they are on the right path.
