T-REX EFFECTS - THE STORY
Founded by two childhood friends, Lars and Sebastian, following the immediate success of what was really a school project, T-Rex Engineering has been making pedals, boards and power supplies for more than 20 years, based in Vejle, Denmark.
The company has grown through the years, but we are still very proud to be just as easy going, just as friendly and just as focused on making high quality and useful products, as we were when we first started out.
We feel that players should get more than just the obvious, which of course is great tone – we want to invite you into our own world, make you feel like family and talk to you. This is the only way we can keep exploring new ideas and designs, and the positive feedback continues to prove to us that we are on the right track.

When it comes to materials and components, T-Rex goes above and beyond to acquire the highest of quality in areas such as film foil capacitors, regulators, and iron-cores. It is no secret that T-Rex takes great pride in the quality of the products we create; therefore, the components must be outstanding as well. Over the years, T-Rex has developed components like potentiometers and foot switches that are extremely durable and exclusive to T-Rex.
Our product portfolio includes many industry classics like the Replica delay, the Mudhoney distortion, the Fuel Tank power supply series, as well as our Tone Trunk pedalboards.
The company supplies top artists such as John Mayer, Carlos Santana, David Gilmour, Steve Lukather (Toto), Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge), Martin Gore (Depeche Mode) and Carl Verheyen (Supertramp), but we also have a huge passion for developing relationships with smaller, local bands and artists.
The heritage of Danish designed products is not to be taken lightly, because it has to do with more than just colours, shapes and finishes, and we know this. That’s why we constantly seek to improve and innovate wherever possible.
