We announce the death of Doctor Ian Allan A Lambert better known as "Chopper" or ‘Savannah”, age 74 of Roseau, Dominica and 473 St. Paul’s Garden, St. Paul’s, St. George, Grenada.
He died on Wednesday 13th May, 2026 in New York.
He was a Past Faculty member of Convent High School, Roseau, Dominica, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, North-South Institute, Florida, United States of American and a former Advisor to the Ministry of Trade Dominica.
He was the husband of: Marlene Greenaway Lambert.
He was the father of: Tamara M. Lambert and Tanya K. Lambert.
He will also be remembered by his:
Siblings: Edward Lambert, Swinton Lambert, Denis Russel Lambert, Jean Lambert, Joyce Lambert and Peter Philogene.
Adopted siblings: Sir Luther Martin, Yvonne Rullow and Merle Navarro.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Joan Lambert, Junia Lambert and Doctor David Lambert.
The funeral service for the late Doctor Ian Allan A. Lambert better known as “Chopper” or “Savannah” of Roseau and 473 St. Paul’s Garden, St. George Grenada will take place on Friday 19th June, 2026 at 3:00pm at Our Lady of Fair Haven Cathedral and will be followed by cremation.
