Meet cinematographer Sebastián Cabrera Chelin (). Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Chelin began his creative journey as an editor, but it was behind the camera where he found his true calling. With an instinct for composition and a deep love for visual storytelling, he quickly made a name for himself in the international scene. His work spans music videos for artists like Juan Luis Guerra, Travis Scott, and Juanes, and award-winning films recognized for their cinematography. From shaping stories through sound to mentoring the next generation: José Homer Mora is a Honduran Sound Engineer, Sound Mixer, and professor with over 15 years of experience in film, currently based in the Dominican Republic. Known for his sharp ear and narrative instinct, Mora has become a key figure in the Dominican film industry—not only for his extensive work across local and international productions, but also for his dedication to education. He helped establish the Sound Department at Chavón’s film school ( ), where he remains an active instructor, and continues to guide emerging talent through programs at Cuba’s EICTV.
