The Non Profit ElSerLibreYFeliz Foundation
escuchamiRADIO believes that with corporate development there needs to be equilibrium among economic, environmental and social components. As Plato once said, music “gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination”. Through music, people can come together to make the world a more harmonious and better place. This is why escuchamiRADIO is working with the support of our social media and music platforms, together with other international corporations and public institutions to support the efforts of The Non Profit ElSerLibreYFeliz Foundation. The "ElSerLibreYFeliz" Foundation is working with the institutional support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the Dominican Republic "giving wings to the mind and flight to the imagination" of 200+ children and adolescents from the Special Needs School "Father Sebastian Cavalotto". The Father Sebastian Cavalotto Special Needs School is one of several educational works of this beloved Catholic priest who's vision was clear about this need. This school is The Non-Profit ElSerLibreYFeliz Foundations's pilot plan to develop a national model for other Special Needs Schools throughout the Dominican Republic and eventually will inspire other nations. The Cavalotto School was established 36 years ago in the city of La Romana, in the Villaverde Sector, operating with limited resource for educating more than 220 students with special needs such as autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, deafness, mental retardation, among other disabilities that affect children and are due to a malfunction of the brain.
