Señales de ⚠ advertencia mas comunes en los vehículos:

1. Sistema de frenos: Esta señal pone al descubierto algún problema en el sistema de frenado. La mayoría de las ocasiones señala que nos hemos dejado puesto el freno de mano. Pero si no es así acude rápidamente a un taller ya que un fallo de frenos compromete gravemente la seguridad.

2. Luz de aviso del aceite: Esta luz es para la presión del aceite. Si se enciende, significa que hay algún problema con el motor. También se enciende cuando tenemos el nivel de aceite bajo.

3. Batería: Nuestro coche es capaz de cargar su propia batería, así que si se enciende esta luz significa que no lo hace eficientemente. Seguramente por un problema en el alternador.

4. Luz antiniebla trasera: Si vemos esta señal, es que llevas la luz antiniebla trasera encendida. Puede parecer inofensivo, pero es ilegal llevarla conectada en tiempo claro y podemos ser multados.

5. Bujías de incandescencia: Una bujía incandescente es un ingenioso dispositivo que se utiliza para calentar un motor diésel antes de comenzar. Si ve esta luz, mientras usted está conduciendo, es que debe ser sustituida.

6. Presión de los neumáticos: Tener la presión correcta en los neumáticos es muy importante – no sólo por razones de seguridad, sino también para el ahorro de combustible-. Esta luz indica presión deficiente.

7. ABS: Sistema antibloqueo de frenos (ABS) ayuda a repartir equilibradamente la frenada y evitar derrapes. Esta señal encendida algún problema en el sistema.

8. Control de estabilidad: Al igual ABS ayuda a evitar derrapes. El programa electrónico de estabilidad del vehículo (ESP) es una tecnología computarizada que ayuda a mejorar la tracción. Si esta luz de aviso se muestra, hay que tener cuidado en las trazadas en curva. También suele encenderse si la carretera está resbaladiza.

9. Avería del motor: La más temida de todas por los conductores. Esta luz puede significar una multitud de posibles fallos desde el sistema eléctrico a la mecánica del motor. En los coches modernos, también tiene relación con el sistema de control de emisiones, por lo que usted está legalmente obligado a asegurarse de que está funcionando como debería.

10. Sistema de refrigeración del motor: Todo el trabajo que realiza el motor hace que este se caliente. Ahí es donde el refrigerante hace su trabajo. Pero puede pasar que tengamos algún problema y el coche se sobrecaliente pudiendo arruinar por completo el motor. Esta luz indica este fallo y debemos detener el coche inmediatamente si se enciende.
