We are pleased to present the June 2025 issue of ALTRALANG Journal (Volume 7, Number 1), a richly diverse and intellectually stimulating edition comprising 40 peer-reviewed articles. This issue showcases the dynamism and multidisciplinarity of current research in the fields of linguistics, literature, translation studies, didactics, and civilizational studies, reflecting both regional and international scholarly engagement.
The contributions are multilingual, with 19 articles in French, 17 in English, 2 in Spanish, and 2 in Tamazight, embodying the journal’s commitment to promoting linguistic diversity and intercultural dialogue.
This issue brings together the work of researchers from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, including contributors from Spain, Italy, France , Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ghana, Gabon, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Tunisia, alongside a strong representation of national scholars from Algerian institutions such as the University of Oran 2, Tlemcen, Béjaïa, Constantine 1, Bouira, Batna 2, Biskra, Algiers 2, Algiers 3, Aïn Témouchent, Annaba, Mostaganem, Chlef, Guelma, Sétif 2, Tizi Ouzou, El Tarf, Boumerdès, as well as the University Centers of Barika and Mila, and the Center CRLCA.
This thematic richness and geographical breadth underline ALTRALANG Journal’s positioning as a platform fostering academic dialogue across borders and disciplines.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our guest editors, Dr. ROUAGHE Fouzia (University of Sétif 2) and Dr. GUERROUI Mervette (University of Guelma), for their remarkable coordination and dedication throughout the editorial process. Their efforts have been instrumental in ensuring the scholarly quality and coherence of this edition.
