✨🌿 Hoy Cuenca volvió a alzar la voz ✨🌿
Más de 100mil personas salimos a las calles para defender lo más valioso que tenemos: nuestros páramos y el agua que nos da vida. 💧

Quienes vivimos en Cuenca sabemos que sin páramos no hay agua, y sin agua no hay vida. Esta lucha es por el presente y por las futuras generaciones.



✨🌿 Today, Cuenca raised its voice once again ✨🌿
More than 100,000 people took to the streets to defend the most valuable treasure we have: our páramos and the water that gives us life. 💧

Those of us who live in Cuenca know that without páramos there is no water, and without water there is no life. This struggle is for the present and for future generations.

📣💧 El 16 de septiembre marchemos juntos para defender Quimsacocha y nuestras fuentes de agua.
👉 Nos encontramos a las 8:30 en el Spanish Institute para caminar hacia San Roque y llegar a las 9:00.

✍️ El 15 de septiembre estaremos preparando las pancartas. ¡Nosotros ponemos los materiales, tú trae tus ideas y tu voz!

🚫 No a la minería en los páramos, ✅ sí a la vida y al agua.

📣💧 On September 16th let’s march together to defend Quimsacocha and our water sources.
👉 We meet at 8:30 AM at the Spanish Institute and walk to San Roque, arriving by 9:00 AM.

✍️ On September 15th we’ll be making posters. We’ll provide the materials — just bring your ideas and your voice!

🚫 No to mining in the páramos, ✅ yes to life and water.
