🎃 October is here… but at The Krypt, the spooky season is a permanent state of mind 🧠

𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 haunts our stage all month long — not just on weekends like usual, but with some midweek shows too. Bands from Brazil, Germany, USA, Finland, Poland, Slovenia, and of course Estonia will be performing, with some making their debut in Estonia for the very first time.

As 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 creeps closer, the eerie energy rises: a mystical dance show, a daytime drag party for all ages, the only Halloween costume battle karaoke in town — and a flea market bursting with haunted treasures, oddities, and other dark delights.

Arkaist (FR) confirmed for Sügis 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭 vol. 3 at The Krypt!

𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥, Arkaist joins this year’s lineup with their raw and evocative take on Black Metal.
Formed in 2023 in Rennes, France, by Beobachten and Maeror, Arkaist is signed to Antiq Label.
Their debut album, Aube Noire, is a haunting reflection of an intensifying atmosphere of anxiety, delving into themes of decadence, disorientation, and growing isolation within a collapsing society.
Firmly rooted in traditional Black Metal, Arkaist also embraces contemporary sonic elements, crafting a sound that balances raw aggression with deliberate composition — merging glacial atmospheres with be***al fury.

Welcome Forgotten Tomb to Sügis 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭 vol. 3 !

Founded in 1999, and widely considered among the originators of depressive black metal with bona fide classics such as "Songs to Leave" (2002), "Springtime Depression" (2003), and "Love's Burial Ground" (2004), the band explored increasingly heavier and broader territories with all the albums that followed, from the genre-shattering avant-garde of "Negative Megalomania" (2007) through the pitch-black rocking vehicle "Under Saturn Retrograde" (2011), then perfecting the band's own black/doom formula with the harsher tones of "...And Don't Deliver Us From Evil" (2012) and "Hurt Yourself and The Ones You Love" (2015).
Along the way, they released a mid-career retrospective live-in-studio album and a live DVD. In 2017, they returned with the controversial We Owe You Nothing, their heaviest work to date, blending Sludge and Punk overtones into their already expansive sound.
Their 10th full-length album, Nihilistic Estrangement (2020), was met with enthusiastic responses, marking a high point in their later career. The latest album, “Nightfloating” (2024), has been widely welcomed by critics and praised for its seamless fusion of melodic black metal, doom, gothic, and blackened sludge.

The band has toured extensively across Europe and beyond, continuing to build a dedicated following. Don’t miss their exclusive Estonian appearance at Sügis Extreme Fest III at The Krypt!
