👇 Unfortunately (or fortunately) we didn’t see polar bears but if we would’ve seen any, then we wouldn’t have been able to go kayaking near the glacier.

We did this awesome tour with and while not everything went as planned, it was possibly one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever done. It’ll definitely be hard to top that landscape.
I recommend Better Moments for the small groups they have on their tours. We did 2 tours with them and there was at most 12 people.

👇 Turns out even unfamiliar food gets a lot more interesting when they get to cook it themselves.

One of our favorite meals in Taipei wasn’t fancy fine dining. It was hot pot restaurant right next to our hotel -

You choose your favourite ingredients, cook at your own pace, and the dinner becomes like part meal-part activity!

For kids, it takes the pressure out of trying something new (and they’re genuinely excited to eat what they cooked). For adults, it’s an experience on its own too, if you haven’t been to a hot pot place before.

Isabella cooked her food instead of broth just with hot water because she doesn’t like anything remotely spicy but she still loved her soup. 😄

If you’re visiting Taipei, this is one meal I’d happily recommend to families as well as food lovers in general.
