👇 Located in the remote Danakil Depression in Ethiopia, Dallol is the most surreal landscape I have ever seen.
We visited during our honeymoon 5 years ago and Ethiopia was for sure an epic adventure!
Most of Dallol lies around 125m below sea level. Often said to be the hottest place in the world, averaging 41 °C daily, even during the night the temperature barely dips below 25 °C.
These colorful pools are so acidic that the guide constantly warned people not to step in them.
