Nyhavn, Copenhagen in winter 🇩🇰
Visiting Nyhavn in Copenhagen had been on my bucket list for a long time, so seeing it in winter felt extra meaningful. 😻
Here’s what to expect:
▪️It’s still crowded, even off-season.
▪️Timing matters more than the month - early mornings work best for photos.
▪️The southern side is calmer and offers more space - it’s also where most people take photos.
▪️The northern side, on the other hand, has more people and restaurants.
▪️And yes, it gets very cold in winter - dress accordingly.
▪️ It’s also worth visiting after dark - the lights and reflections give Nyhavn a completely different feel. 🩵
Winter in Copenhagen won’t make the streets empty, but it does bring a unique atmosphere and rhythm. 😊
