Suure rõõmuga teatame, et Telliskivi Loomelinnaku ja Selektor Studio poolt tänavuse Tallinn Music Weeki artistidele suunatud stuudioauhinna konkursi võitis Kosovo multitalent La Fazani.

“Olen väga õnnelik nii selle auhinna üle kui ka võimaluse eest tulla taas võluvasse Tallinna linna ja teha tööd Selektor Studios, mis näib olevat üks ütlemata ehe loomemaja,” rõõmustab värske võitja. “Tallinn Music Weekilt sain juba hulga unustamatuid mälestusi ning ootan põnevusega, et Balkani ja Balti kultuurisidemeid veelgi tugevdada. Eestit ja Kosovot seob rohkem, kui pelgalt nende mõõtmed—me mõlemad oleme väikesed, ent uhked rahvad tormilise ajaloo ning elujõulise, sitke kultuuriga. Ei jõua ära oodata, et oma muusikaga neid kultuurisildu edasi ehitada.”

Auhinnana ootab artisti ees 3-4 muusikapala salvestamine, miksimine ja masterdamine Selektor Studios koos produtsendi ja salvestusinseneri Martin Laksbergiga.

We are delighted to announce that multi-talented La Fazani from Kosovo has won the studio award competition for Tallinn Music Week 2025 performers by Telliskivi Creative City and Selektor Studio.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to receive this incredible award, to return to the delightful city of Tallinn, and to begin working in what seems to be an exquisitely authentic creative space at Selektor Studio,” says La Fazani. He adds: “Tallinn Music Week has already given me some unforgettable memories, and I’m excited to deepen the cultural connection between the Balkans and the Baltics. Estonia and Kosovo share more than just size — both are small, proud nations with turbulent histories and vibrant, resilient cultures. I’m truly looking forward to building more bridges through creating some fire music."

The award includes recording, mixing and mastering 3-4 musical pieces at Selektor Studio with producer and recording engineer Martin Laksberg.

⭐️Kindergarten excursion to the studio rooms! Getting them into music early on.
Martin Laksberg explained how sound waves worked and Thea Zaitsev with Henrik told about what their work as organizers involves. Luckily enough they got to witness a recording session with Fredi and Sandra Sillamaa who gave a taste of what a bagpipe sounds like and how it really works. 🎶✨

Mul oli suur soov teha üks lahe ja võimas disco hitt ja nii ühel päeval stuudios koos Martin Laksbergiga see sündiski!

Ma loodan, et see paneb kõigil jala tatsuma ja puusa nõksuma, sest mul on küll saanud sellest üks korralik kõrvauss.

We are happy to announce that Coming Up Roses has joined our sync catalogue! 🎉

Hailing from the island nation of Singapore, London-based indie/alt rock band Coming Up Roses forge a sound that is distinctively familiar – yet you can’t quite put your finger on. Led by singer-bassist Emily Sera, the group has emerged as one of the most promising acts out of Southeast Asia owing to their dynamic live shows and heartfelt lyrical themes. Their unique blend of alt-rock and indie pop drenched with shoegaze-y textures has earned them accolades the world over, being featured as a Spotify RADAR artist in 2023 and making appearances at festivals such as Ampthill (UK), Canadian Music Week and LUCFest (Taiwan). In addition, their firebrand performances has seen them open for UK band FUR as well as slot in alongside esteemed international acts such as Soccer Mommy and Ichiko Aoba as part of The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions in 2023.

Quick throwback to last autumn—Selektor Studio was in charge of creating music for Tere Piim Hellus campaign, teaming up with Get Shot Films and Taifuun. The music was composed and recorded in our studio by our talented producer Martin Laksberg, with vocals recorded by Robert Linna.

You can now find this stunning Baby Grand Geissler at our studio! 😍 Rita Ray said that she fell in love with this piano at the first sight - and we totally get why! 💛

This beauty came to us from Klaverite Kants, who brought it from Germany to Estonia about 5-6 years ago and carefully restored it to its former glory. Originally built around 1934, it carries nearly a century of music and history within its keys. ✨

We are happy to announce that Johannes Laas has joined our sync catalogue! 🎉

is an awarded Estonian guitarist, composer and producer who has been touring with his own music and other well-known artists such as Rita Ray and Anett.
His album "Öö" earned praise from both music critics and fans. Reflecting on his work, Johannes shares:
“The night (the album’s title, Öö, translates as ‘night’) has always been a source of inspiration for me. The songs on this album were born during late-night hours, as I meditated on my musical ideas.”

Toomas külastas meid unistuste päeva raames Selektori stuudios, kus teda võttis vastu Joonas Mattias Sarapuu. Koos avastasid nad stuudio võimalusi ning Joonas tutvustas Toomasele muusika salvestamise kunsti ja erinevaid loomevahendeid. Seejärel võtsid nad ette klahvpillid, mängides kordamööda ja salvestades heliklippe. Koos kogesid nad muusikategemise rõõmu ja päeva lõpetuseks jäi kõlama mõte: loo muusikat, mis sulle endale kõige rohkem meeldib.
