Cannot wait to be back in Haugesund, home to the Norwegian International Film Festival and its vibrant industry programme, New Nordic Films, including the Nordic Co-Production Market.

We’ve been lucky enough to return to the festival year after year - not “only” with our films on screen, but as active participants in its lively industry programmes, too.

This year, we’re looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones, immersing ourselves in the latest Nordic projects, and, of course, breathing in that crisp ocean air beneath the long, still-bright northern nights.

See you in Haugesund between 24 and 28 August!

Our co-production, Ulya by Viesturs Kairišs has been selected as Latvia’s official submission for the 99th Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category!

The Latvian-Estonian-Polish-Lithuanian co-production tells the story of legendary basketball player Ulyana Semyonova, tracing her journey from an Old Believers’ community in South-Eastern Latvia to international fame during the Cold War.

We're so thrilled to see Ulya continue its way on the global circuit, and proud to be part of this adventure together with EGO MEDIA Staron FILM and Tremora

🎬🇱🇻 Latvia puts forward Ulya, a biographical drama by Viesturs Kairišs, as its entry for the Best International Feature Film award at the 99th Academy Awards. The International Feature shortlist will be revealed in December, with the ceremony taking place on 14 March.

Our next stop at Mängufilm "Fränk"‘s festival circuit is the Norwegian Film Festival in Haugesund 📽️

We’re most happy to present our coming-of-age film by Tõnis Pill in Ung-film, the youth section of the festival, and also the paralel Elevenes Film Festival, where the film will be screened across schools as well.

Our main screening will be held at Edda at 16:15 on the 23th of August, Sunday. And our very own Oskar Seeman in the titular role of the film, will accompany the event in person, and also participate in the Q&A afterwards.

Supporting Role's festival journey continues! Our film by writer-director Ana Urushadze will participate in the narrative feature competition of the SARAJEVO FILM FESTIVAL.

We're delighted to be selected, and resonate with SIFF creative director, Izeta Građević"s statement very much: we're also continuously seeking to show different perspectives on the world, and we're always inspired by Sarajevo's exceptionally curious audience.
