Red Bull has announced a brand-new partnership to bring McDonald's sponsorship into F1 for the first time.

The golden arches are to appear on the RB21s of Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda at the upcoming Sao Paulo GP in Brazil, the first time the company has done so in grand prix racing.

Furthermore, a McDonald's restaurant in Sao Paulo is to be turned into a 'Red Bull pitstop' at the drive-through.

Starting from October 21st, Red Bull products will be sold in McDonald's restaurants in the country.

The famous McDonald's logo will appear on the halo of the RB21 and in the garage for the duration of the eight-week partnership.

Red Bull will also conduct public show activations, and an exclusive cartoon has also been created.

🚨😳 Lando Norris has revealed that he no longer uses the live delta time on his dashboard during qualifying sessions — a decision he made starting from the Monaco GP.

⏱️ He believes removing that lap time reference helps him stay focused on driving rather than numbers, leading to better performances. This tactic paid off in Mexico, where Norris secured a surprise pole position despite not knowing how competitive his lap was until he crossed the line.

⏪ On the second and third slides you can see McLaren’s steering wheel layout from 2022, with the live delta time in the top right corner.

🎯 After months of cheeky sabotage, Red Bull and McLaren have officially called a truce over “the tape.”

🔴 Red Bull received a €50,000 fine (half suspended) for trying to remove the visual grid marker McLaren places next to Lando Norris’s starting slot — a small strip of tape used as a backup reference.

🗣️ But as Norris joked: “They got a penalty and I didn’t even use it. We made it special so they couldn’t even take it off.”

🟠 McLaren had escalated the tape tactics:
Cutting it into vertical strips, doubling up the tape (one said “Better luck next time”) and guarding it with mechanics until the last second.

👥 Talks between team bosses Andrea Stella and Laurent Mekies led to a mutual decision: no more tape meddling.
Both teams agree: the rivalry should stay focused on track as the championship fight intensifies.

“Just amusing little side quests,” Norris added.
“I’ll still use it sometimes… just not always.”
