شفتوا الجمال ده؟ 👀
القناع ده مش لتوت عنخ آمون ولا أي ملك… ده قناع جنائزي نادر لواحد من أهم شخصيات الدولة الحديثة: يويا، وقناع مراته تويا.
يويا كان وزير وواحد من كبار رجال البلاط في عهد الملك أمنحتب الثالث (حوالي 1390 – 1352 ق.م)، وكمان كان جد الملك أخناتون 👑! يعني من بيت يويا وتويا خرجت واحدة من أقوى السلالات في التاريخ المصري.
المميز إن مقبرة يويا وتويا في وادي الملوك (KV46) اتلاقت سنة 1905 تقريبًا كاملة وفيها كنوز مذهلة زي القناع ده، اللي معمول من أوراق الذهب وعيونه مطعمة بالكوارتز والألباستر، عشان يخلد ملامح يويا في الأبدية ✨.
تخيلوا إن الحاجات دي عمرها أكتر من 3,300 سنة ولسه محافظة على هيبتها وكأنها معمولة امبارح!

This funerary mask does not belong to Tutankhamun or any king… it’s a rare mask of Yuya and his wife Thuya.
Yuya was a powerful nobleman and minister during the reign of Amenhotep III (c. 1390 – 1352 BC), and he was also the grandfather of Pharaoh Akhenaten 👑! From the house of Yuya and Thuya emerged one of the most influential royal bloodlines in Egyptian history.
Their tomb (KV46) in the Valley of the Kings, discovered in 1905, was found almost intact, containing stunning treasures like this mask—crafted from gold leaf with inlaid eyes of quartz and alabaster, meant to eternalize Yuya’s features for eternity ✨.
Just imagine—over 3,300 years old, yet still shining with power and dignity as if it was made yesterday!
