We’re proud to wrap up the 4th Interdisciplinary Workshop — where architecture met engineering, and innovation took center stage! 🎭✨

Students merged smart control systems with creative spatial design through projects like:
💡 Motion-sensitive lighting in smart museum models
🏗️ Automated movable ceilings
🎭 Intelligent stage control systems

After 4 weeks of hands-on collaboration, we celebrated their achievements on May 27, 2025, with certificates, gifts, and proud faculty in attendance. 🎓🎁

Student Projects Exhibition – Engineering Day 2025 At Alamein Campus

The 2025 Engineering Day at AASTMT’s Alamein Campus marked the fourth edition of this annual event, held on May 28, 2025. The day was attended by key academic figures including Prof. Dr. Mostafa Hussein, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Farouk El Safty, and Dr. Mohamed Nabil El Shaib, alongside faculty members and students.

The event celebrated student excellence through a wide range of activities, including:
• A student project exhibition displaying innovative, real-world solutions.
• Honoring students for achievements in academics, sports, and culture.
• Recognizing outstanding faculty members for their dedication.
• Awarding the winners of the Math-Minds 2025 competition.
• Celebrating top-performing students from the Basic Sciences Department.

The day reflected the college’s strong commitment to academic innovation, student engagement, and community building—serving as an inspiring platform for the next generation of engineers.

🌟 ICMISI2025 – What an Inspiring Journey!
We’re proud to have wrapped up the 2025 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Smart Innovation, held from May 10–12 at the AAST Main Campus, Alexandria.

With the theme "Towards a Smarter and Sustainable Future," this year’s event brought together brilliant minds from around the world to explore the latest in AI, machine learning, smart systems, and sustainable technologies.

From thought-provoking keynote sessions to cutting-edge research presentations, ICMISI2025 was a hub of innovation, collaboration, and future-focused dialogue.

A heartfelt thank you to all the speakers, partners, participants, and volunteers who made this event a success!

Women… Partners in Navigating Toward the Future
Academy Magazine | May 18, 2025

On an exceptional day full of inspiration and pride, we had the honor of attending a special celebration marking the International Day for Women in Maritime, jointly organized by the Department of Marine Engineering and Offshore Platforms at the College of Engineering and Technology and the College of International Transport and Logistics at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

Held in Al-Farsi Hall, the event was more than just a formal gathering — it was a genuine platform to amplify the voice of women in the maritime, energy, and logistics sectors. We listened to real-life experiences and inspiring success stories from pioneering women who proved that the sea is for everyone, and that talent and determination know no gender.

From leadership roles to engineering and technical positions, all the speakers highlighted the challenges they faced, the stereotypes they shattered, and how they successfully led major projects and complex offshore operations with remarkable professionalism. Their words were full of hope, their stories rich with strength, and their message clear: women can and should lead in every sector, including the maritime industry — once considered tough and exclusive.

The event sent a direct message to the next generation of female students: the future is wide open, the opportunities are real, and excellence is waiting for those who pursue it — regardless of gender.

We are proud to have been part of this pioneering celebration, which reflects the Academy’s commitment to empowering women, promoting diversity, and building a more inclusive and sustainable maritime sector.
