About the instructor: Reem is an actor and coach with an MFA in Actor Training & Coaching from the Royal Central school of Speech & Drama. She is currently an adjunct professor at AUC teaching acting. Reem has been working with the MA Contemporary Acting at Royal Central and the American Theatre program at Rose Bruford College.

ورشة تقنيات الصوت والإلقاء للممثل :

المدربة: الممثلة السورية ناندا محمد

الصوت عند الممثل هو اداة مهمة جداً ويجب الاهتمام بتدريبه والعمل عليه في مرحلة تأسيس الممثل وفي كل المراحل الأخرى ، في الغالب يتلقى الممثل في منطقتنا تدريبات صوت موجهة بالأساس للمغني وليس للممثل ، وبالرغم من الفائدة التي قد يحصل عليها من هذه التدريبات الا أن عملية تدريب الصوت والإلقاء الموجهة للممثل مختلفة عن تلك التدريبات.
كما أن الاشتغال على اللغة العربية الفصيحة بطريقة صحيحة يتم إهماله بالعموم وفي ذلك خطأ كبير لما لها من تأثير مفيد على مخارج الألفاظ وقوة التعبير الصوتي.

Voice is an essential tool for actors. They need to carefully train it and improve it, both during the foundational stage of training as well as all following stages. Actors in our region often receive voice training that is designed for singers, not for actors. Although there is some benefit to this type of training; however, voice and recitation trainings that are designed specifically for actors are quite different. Furthermore, advancing accurate pronunciation of fusha (Modern Standard Arabic) is generally ignored. This is a big mistake given fusha’s positive impact on syllable articulation and the volume of vocal expression.
