Water is life, yet the people of Hong Wet Jok in Gomjuer West Payam, Aweil West County continue to suffer from severe water shortage. Women, children, and elderly people walk long distances every day searching for clean drinking water. This situation is affecting health, education, and daily living in our community.

We humbly call upon the government, humanitarian organizations, well-wishers, and sons and daughters of the area to come together and support the drilling of boreholes and sustainable water projects for our people.

Access to clean water is not a privilege — it is a basic human need. Let us stand together to save lives and restore hope to the people of Hong Wet Jok.

Statement on the Chaos and Disagreements on Juba Public Roads

It is deeply concerning to witness the growing chaos and misunderstandings currently taking place on the public roads of Juba. The constant disagreements between youths and some untrained government officials are creating unnecessary tension, confusion, and disorder among citizens.

Public roads are meant to serve everyone peacefully and safely, not to become places of conflict and intimidation. There is an urgent need for professionalism, respect, and proper communication between authorities and the public. Government officials entrusted with public responsibilities should be well trained to handle situations calmly, fairly, and lawfully.

At the same time, youths are encouraged to remain peaceful, respectful, and cooperative while expressing their concerns in a civilized manner. Violence, insults, and confrontation will only worsen the situation and damage the unity we all desire for our country.

We call upon the relevant authorities to immediately address these issues through proper training, public awareness, and accountability in order to restore order, trust, and harmony on the roads of Juba.

A peaceful society begins with mutual respect and responsible leadership.
