🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡️Russia has successfully tested a laser gun

In Russia, they conducted successful field tests of a laser gun to destroy various types of drones.

" Successful tests of a combat laser designed to destroy unmanned aerial vehicles were carried out at one of the Russian military training grounds. The laser gun demonstrated high efficiency in hitting UAVs in the near zone," a media source said.

In tests, the combat laser of the infrared spectrum ensured the physical destruction of drones, in particular, burned through the aerodynamic surfaces of the vehicles or burned their body along with on-board equipment. Drones of both aircraft and quadrocopter types were destroyed by the laser, the source noted.

Today, the leading countries of the world are actively working on tactical laser suppression and destruction systems, which should, in particular, strike drones and ammunition in the air in the near zone.

🚀 Russia Deploys 'Top Secret' KH-50 Cruise Missile in Successful Attack on Ukrainian Weapons Depot 💥

In an unprecedented move, Russia has unleashed its secretive KH-50 stealth cruise missile in a successful strike on a weapons depot located in Ukraine's Zaporozhye region. 🇷🇺🚀💥

Last night, around 23:00, a massive explosion rocked the military facility, confirming the deployment of the KH-50. This enigmatic missile has been veiled in mystery, with its exact specifications closely guarded. However, it's known to be a sleek, medium-range subsonic cruise missile that employs cutting-edge technology.

The KH-50, often considered a scaled-down version of the KH-101, boasts impressive features such as low-observable shaping, a composite airframe to reduce radar signatures, and advanced navigation systems including SATNAV/TERCOM. 🌌🚀🛰️

Back in 2018, Russia modified a Tu-22M3 strategic bomber to accommodate these missiles, showcasing their commitment to their strategic prowess.

Though exact details about the KH-50 remain scarce, Janes, a reliable source, estimates the missile to be approximately six meters long and weighing around 1,600 kg. It's powered by the OMKB izdeliye 37-04 (TRDD-50B) turbofan engine. 🛩️🚀🔥

With an estimated range exceeding 1,500 km, cruising at 700 kph and reaching a maximum speed of 950 kph, the KH-50's capabilities are undeniable. Its warhead, weighing about 450 kg, adds to its formidable impact.

The missile's distinctive flattened cross-section and faceted sides serve the dual purpose of minimizing radar visibility and optimizing space in the bomber's weapon bay. 🎯🔍📏

Designed for low-altitude flight, the KH-50 is equipped with a defensive suite featuring electronic warfare and flare heat traps. Not only does it possess the ability to elude radar detection, but it also possesses countermeasures against air defense and air-to-air missiles with RF and IIR seekers. 🌍🚀🔝

URGENT UPDATE:
Algeria has turned down the French appeal to utilize its airspace for a military operation in Niger, according to multiple sources, including Algerian State Radio, who have indicated that France contemplated a potential action against Niamey's fresh military regime if they didn't free Bazoum, held in custody since July 26th. Responding to Algeria's decline, France purportedly approached Morocco for permission to pass its military planes through Moroccan skies. In its typical fashion, France refuted these allegations and restated its backing for an ECOWAS-led military engagement.

History of 1st & 2nd Antonov An-225 Mriya

Before the fall of the Soviet Union to solve the problem of transporting rockets and other large space vehicles to the Baikonur Cosmodrome for Buran program. M-4 bomber was modified to ferry the load in 1982 but its loading capacity was 50 tonnes.

For larger cargo Antonov modified An-124 to make 2 Antonov An-225 for Buran program with a maximum take off weight of 640 tonnes.
Antonov An-225 is owned by both Russia and Ukraine government .

A second An-225 Mriya with a slightly different configuration was partially built.Its construction was halted in 1994 due to lack of funding and interest, was later revived briefly in 2009, bringing it to 60–70% completion.On 30 August 2016, Antonov agreed to complete the second airframe for Airspace Industry Corporation of China as a prelude to commencing series production later the Chinese abandoned its plan
