President Meets March and March Leaders, Promises to Address Concerns

President Cyril Ramaphosa has met with leaders representing the March and March movement, assuring them that he has heard their concerns and is committed to working with them to address the issues they raised.

The President also reaffirmed that South Africans have the constitutional right to protest peacefully, but stressed that all demonstrations must remain lawful and non-violent.

However, questions have been raised after some of the movement's prominent figures, including Ngizwe Mchunu and Phakelumthakathi (Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma), were not seen at the meeting. Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma has since stated that she was not aware that the meeting was taking place.

Their absence has sparked speculation about whether all key leaders of the movement were represented during the discussions.
