People around the world visit museums to witness the beauty and greatness of a certain time and to admire the ability of humankind to create, to invent, and to advance.
But today, the Grand Egyptian Museum is here to redefine what a museum truly is and why we visit one.
It is not new for Egyptians to write history at moments of human influence, and today is no different.
Egypt is making history once again, not only with a monumental structure or a collection of timeless artifacts, but by announcing a new milestone in human progression, a statement to the world that we continue to learn from our past to build our future.
Today, Egypt opens a portal of hope, a time-traveling gateway linking the essence and secrets of the past with the light and aspirations of the future.
Many who walk through the halls of the Grand Egyptian Museum will find themselves in the midst of a magical experience, one that transforms how they see life itself.
They will be immersed in a journey of discovery of signs, secrets, and revelations.
History will record that the Grand Egyptian Museum is not just a touristic attraction.
It is a university of civilization, a place sought by those who are thirsty to learn about the past and determined to unlock the code of the future.
And I will not be surprised if people soon wish not only to visit this wonder, but to live beside it to be close to its treasures, its mysteries, and its timeless invitation to dream, to learn, and to evolve.
Long live Egypt - the cradle of civilization, the maker of history, and the gateway to the future.

اعتاد العالم زيارة المتاحف لمشاهدة جمال الماضي وقدرة الإنسان على الإبداع، لكن المتحف المصري الكبير يعيد تعريف معنى المتحف ورسالة زواره.
اليوم نعيد كتابة التاريخ برسالة جديدة للعالم: نتعلم من الماضي لنصنع المستقبل، وتفتح مصر نافذة أمل تصل أسرار الأمس بنور الغد.
من يدخل المتحف المصري الكبير سيجد نفسه في رحلة ساحرة تغيّر نظرته للحياة. فهذا الصرح ليس وجهة سياحية فقط، بل جامعة حضارية للمتطلعين لمعرفة الماضي وفك رموز المستقبل.
لن أتعجب إذا تمنّى الزوار العيش بجواره ليكونوا قريبين من كنوزه وأسراره ورحلته الأبدية للحلم والتعلم والتطور.
عاشت مصر مهد الحضارة وكاتبة التاريخ وبوابة المستقبل.
