My Business Story

First of all, I'm from Cairo, Egypt. Yes, the pyramids, sphinx and the pharaohs. I was a kind of a child who used to paint every single detail around him. After few years of doing great efforts during my primary years and winning lots of school competitions, my passion for photography started from more than 6 years ago, when I received my first compact camera from my father to capture my family happy moments like vacations or birthdays. But I didn't stop there, I have started to take my camera wherever I go and capture landscapes, portraits of my friends and of course street photography. This made me want to dig deeper in photography, learn basics and even advanced information about photography, so at that point, I decided to change my career and shift my studies from business administration faculty at the British university in Egypt to communication and mass media faculty. Thanks to the internet, with self-studying and the financial support from my family, I've got my first DSLR and I've begun working as a street and portrait photographer. When the Arab Spring had risen in Egypt, I was there to document parts from the Egyptian revolution through my lens. However, after a while, I stopped the street photography type which was my favorite at that time, because of the police targeting anyone carrying a camera in the streets. Then, there was a shift to the commercial and advertising photography type besides to shooting landscapes, portraits and working as a freelancer for some advertising and media agencies. Moreover, my studies began to be more related to cinema, and at the same time I was developing my tools, until I decided to start filmmaking career. So by winning 3 prizes for the past 3 years at my faculty, it became not only my study but also my work with media agencies as a freelancer as well as covering events. That was a turning point in my life and my career. So I hope one day, I can achieve my dream in my career and be a successful and a remarkable man in the media field, not only in Egypt or the middle east, but also around the whole world.
