We encourage artists, young and rising talents, caricaturists, illustrators, animators by publishing and promoting their work. We are also trying to revive the comics spirit among the generations by highlighting the history of comics and its development throughout the years.
« Tosh Fesh » is also a series of books published by Mutaz Sawwaf dedicated to caricature artists in the Arab world.

Can a silent drawing speak louder than words and travel farther than language? 🎨🌍

For Bahraini cartoonist Khalid Alhashimi خالد الهاشمي| Khalid Alhashimi , caricature is not simply entertainment: it is an honest, indirect visual message that invites the viewer to complete the idea.

From Al-Obid, the ordinary citizen who sees with his heart, to Ta’ameena and Nakhool, Khalid’s characters open conversations about everyday life, Palestine, insurance, children, and the environment.

Why do Arab cartoon characters struggle to become global icons? Khalid Alhashimi offers a clear answer: talent is not enough. Characters need funding, animation, distribution, institutions, and a real creative industry.

هل يمكن للرسم الصّامت أن يكون أبلغ من الكلمات، وأن يصل أبعد من اللّغة؟ 🎨🌍
