Did you know that eating with your hands is not only healthy, but it may also help prevent some diseases? Benefits of eating with hands:
Maintaining fitness: A study found that people who eat with their hands are less likely to be obese than those who use cutlery. This is because eating with your hands makes you feel full faster, and it also reduces the amount of food you eat.
Improving digestion: Human hands contain beneficial bacteria that help digest food. When you eat with your hands, you are exposed to these beneficial bacteria, which helps improve digestion.
Preventing type 2 diabetes: A study found that people who eat quickly are more likely to develop type 2 diabetes. When you eat by hand, you tend to eat more slowly, which helps prevent this type of diabetes.
Of course, eating with your hands must be done in a hygienic manner, by washing your hands well before and after eating.
And this is what the Messenger of God, Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded, and God Almighty spoke the truth when he said {And he does not speak out of inclination (3) {It is nothing but a revelation revealed (4)} [Surat An-Najm]
