Role Description
Are you an experienced UI/UX designer with a passion for creating exceptional user experiences? Do you have a track record of producing stunning design work and possess a high level of proficiency in Figma? If so, we are looking for you to join our team at Codid as a UI/UX Designer!
This is a full-time on-site role for a User Interface Designer at Codid in Cairo, Egypt. The User Interface Designer will be responsible for creating visual designs, mockups, front-end development, user experience (UX) design, and user interface design to enhance the usability and aesthetics of digital products on a day-to-day basis.
Requirements:
Experience: 1+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
Portfolio: A strong and impressive portfolio showcasing your best work is a must.
Tool Proficiency: Mastery of design tools, with a particular focus on Figma.
Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and create innovative and visually appealing designs.
Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
User-Centric: A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn complex requirements into user-friendly designs.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Qualifications
Visual Design, Mockups, and User Interface Design skills
Experience in Front-End Development and User Experience (UX) design
Strong portfolio showcasing UI design projects
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
Knowledge of web design principles and best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field
Responsibilities
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
Build page navigation buttons and search fields
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Portfolio of design projects
Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Good time-management skills
BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
