Condolences Message from Azande Student Association in Egypt

It is with deep sorrow that we, the Azande Student Association in Egypt, extend our deepest condolences to President Kumbadu Dominic and the entire family of the late Uncle Mustafa Kisanga, who sadly passed away on November 16, 2025. This loss is particularly heavy, following closely on the heels of the tragic passing of his beloved wife and young daughter on November 13, 2025, in Cairo.

We mourn the departure of a respected elder, a dedicated staff of the South Sudan Embassy in Egypt, and a humble servant to his community. Mr. Mustafa was known for his unwavering loyalty, integrity, and kindness, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.

To President Kumbadu Dominic, his family, relatives, friends, and all who mourn this loss, we offer our heartfelt sympathies. May Almighty God grant the departed soul eternal peace, and may the grieving family find strength and comfort in this difficult time.

The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

It’s with great honor that the president of Azande students’ Association was invited to swearing- in ceremony of newly elected leaders of the Rumbek Youth Union (RUMYU) in Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the ceremony, our president was given a chance to say a word whereby he talked more and emphasized on unity and living in harmony with each other. He also urged students to be closer to their community as the community is their family since they are far away from home.

Azande Students Association in the Arab Republic of Egypt holds Investiture Ceremony for New Leadership
On Friday, August 8, 2025.

The Azande Students Association in Egypt held a significant event, marking the swearing-in of its new leadership. The ceremony saw Dominic John Daniel take office as President, alongside Maku James as Secretary General, Kinaregu G Moses as Information Minister, and Lemunda Anikido as Finance Minister. These leaders, along with other advisors, will steer the association for the next two years.

Key Highlights of the Ceremony
Theme:The event was held under the theme "Let's Unite for Peace," emphasizing the association's commitment to unity and peaceful coexistence.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Sultan Jackson, the Chief of the Azande Community in Egypt. Other notable attendees included the President of the Greater Equatoria Students Association, representatives from the Lake State Students Association and and other student leaders from different communities in the Arab Republic of Egypt,

Celebrating Leadership, The investiture ceremony underscored the importance of leadership, responsibility, and community, setting a positive tone for the new academic year or term.

The newly sworn-in cabinet will serve for two years, working tirelessly to promote the welfare of Azande students in Egypt and uphold the values of their association. Their term is expected to be marked by initiatives that foster unity, peace, and cooperation among members.
