A CHEF WHO FED CHICAGO WAS KILLED

Isaac “Wavy” Bradley was more than a chef.

He was a mentor, a creator, and a South Side voice who helped build restaurants and opportunities for others.

Police say he was among two men killed when gunmen opened fire on a group in Back of the Yards.

Five others were wounded.

Now Chicago is mourning a man whose work reached far beyond the kitchen.

Five 17-year-old boys went out together in Grand Junction.

By the next morning, their vehicle was found down a steep hillside off Lookout Lane.

All five teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene.

Family and friends have identified them as Braden Taylor, Tristan Tucker, Titus Gould, William Simms, and Tyler Martinez.

They were only 17.

Five families are now grieving futures that ended far too soon.

She reportedly shared photos of her children on their first day of school, proud and smiling as a new year began.

Hours later, police were called to Westover Apartments in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

Aaliyah and Lorenzo Murrell were found dead.

A third woman, Natasha Tillman, survived and was airlifted for treatment.

A joyful morning became a tragedy her children will carry forever.

Valaree Megan Schwab was just 16 years old.

The New Rochelle High School student was killed after a confrontation between teens ended inside a Dunkin’ Donuts.

Police said Valaree tried to defend herself with pepper spray before she was stabbed.

Z’Inah Brown later pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and was sentenced to 17 years.

Valaree should have had music, school, friendships, and a future still ahead of her.

A BARBECUE ENDED IN GUNFIRE

Lashun Rodgers was celebrating Memorial Day in Orlando when a dispute turned deadly.

Authorities said the 41-year-old was fatally shot by the 10-year-old daughter of Lakrisha Isaac during the confrontation.

Isaac later pleaded no contest to manslaughter and culpable negligence.

Ni’kajha A.K. Johnson was only 24.

Authorities say she was sitting in her vehicle near Ridge Avenue and North 25th Street in East St. Louis when gunfire erupted.

She was struck multiple times and later died from her injuries.

Illinois State Police identified Brion D. Bess, 23, as a suspect, and he has been charged with first-degree murder.
