مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي ينعى الفنان العالمي روبرت ريدفورد
ينعى مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي، برئاسة الفنان حسين فهمي، ببالغ الحزن والأسى رحيل النجم العالمي الكبير روبرت ريدفورد، أحد أبرز رموز السينما الأمريكية والعالمية، وصاحب البصمة المؤثرة في تاريخ الفن السابع سواء كممثل أو كمخرج أو كمنتج.
شكّل ريدفورد على مدى عقود طويلة رمزاً للإبداع والشغف بالسينما، وترك إرثًا فنيًا خالدًا امتد من الشاشة الفضية إلى تأسيس مهرجان "ساندانس" السينمائي، الذي تحول إلى منصة عالمية لدعم السينما المستقلة وإبراز المواهب الجديدة.
وفي هذا السياق، صرح الفنان حسين فهمي، رئيس مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي، قائلاً:
"برحيل روبرت ريدفورد نفقد واحداً من القامات السينمائية التي آمنت بقوة الفن في إحداث التغيير، ونجحت في أن تضع السينما المستقلة على الساحة العالمية. لقد كان صانع سينما حقيقي مهد الطريق لأجيال من المبدعين. باسمي وباسم مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي، أتقدم بخالص التعازي إلى أسرته ومحبيه وصناعة السينما في العالم."
Cairo International Film Festival Mourns the Passing of Global Icon Robert Redford
Cairo International Film Festival, presided over by actor Hussein Fahmy, deeply mourns the loss of the legendary global star Robert Redford, one of the most prominent figures in American and world cinema. Redford left an indelible mark on the history of the seventh art, both as an actor, director, and producer.
For decades, Redford stood as a symbol of creativity and passion for cinema, leaving behind a lasting artistic legacy that extended from the silver screen to the founding of the Sundance Film Festival, which became a global platform supporting independent cinema and showcasing new talent.
In this regard, Hussein Fahmy, President of Cairo International Film Festival, stated:
"With the passing of Robert Redford, we lose one of the towering figures of cinema who believed in the power of art to bring change and succeeded in placing independent cinema on the global map. He was a true filmmaker who paved the way for generations of creators.
