A Delegation from HTW Saar visits GUC

On the 16th and 17th of December, 2025, Prof. Tatjana Koenig, Professor of Marketing at HTW, Saarbruecken, Germany, visited GUC. The visit is part of the “Advanced Research Topics in Marketing” Joint Teaching Course that is taught to Master students at the GUC and at HTW Saar. The course included topics such as Influencer Marketing, Artificial Intelligence Applications in Marketing, Sustainable Marketing, and Digital Advertising. A delegation from GUC that included Prof. Noha El-Bassiouny, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Head of Marketing Department and her Ph.D. student Donia El-Naggar, had also visited HTW Saar in September 2025 as part of the joint course program.
The December visit included a two-day workshop where Master students from both universities presented their research papers and had joint discussions. The visit also included a Ph.D. seminar on narrative branding and sustainable tourism as well as a Ph.D. defense related to Household Food Waste and Consumer Wisdom research, where Prof. Tatjana Koenig was the international examiner.
The visit is part of the internationalization and professional development efforts of the Marketing Department at the Faculty of Management Technology, GUC.

منتخب مصر 🇪🇬 يتوج الاول على العالم تحت سن ٢٠ سنة 🏆🥇
تعرب أسرة الجامعة الألمانية بالقاهرة (GUC) عن فخرها واعتزازها العميق بالإنجاز الاستثنائي الذي حققه ابن الجامعة، الطالب حمزة باسل، بكلية الصيدلة.
فقد تمكن حمزة باسل من التتويج بـالميدالية الذهبية في سلاح الشيش ضمن منافسات بطولة كأس العالم للناشئين للمبارزة (FIE Men's Junior World Cup)، والتي أقيمت في طشقند، أوزبكستان.

The German University in Cairo (GUC) expresses its deep pride and admiration for the exceptional achievement of our student, Hamza Basel, Faculty of Pharmacy.
Hamza Basel succeeded in winning the Gold Medal in the Foil weapon during the FIE Men's Junior World Cup Fencing Championship, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
