Egyptian star Ahmed Mekky is officially preparing for a major return to television drama in the upcoming Ramadan season.

Titled Al-Falaki (“The Astronomer”), the 15-episode series is directed by Ahmed Saleh and produced by Synergy.
The project is an adaptation of author Ahmed Mourad’s bestselling sci-fi novel Mosem Saad El Gazlan (“Deer Hunting Season”).

Set in a futuristic world, the narrative explores deep philosophical themes, blending modern evolutionary concepts with ancient creation narratives as characters navigate mysterious sanctuaries, philosophical conflicts, and unusual phenomena.

Egyptian artist Ziad Zaza has released a brand-new double single featuring two distinct tracks, “Hayaty Hayaty” and “Flirty,” showing off a lighter, romantic, electro-pop direction.

The track “Hayaty Hayaty” marks a fresh collaboration between Zaza and Soulja. Blending nostalgic early-2000s Arabic R&B-pop vibes with glossy synths and light guitar riffs, the song is paired with an official music video directed by Khaled Mokhtar and produced by Ismail Nosrat.

Alongside it, Zaza officially released “Flirty,” a high-energy track driven by hard-edged electronic percussion and acidic synths.
