We will dive into an underground artistic world to reveal some of its gems; encouraging discussion around questions like: What is art today? What does it mean to be an artist? What is beauty?..

Reaching to the roots to make a tree blossom.

Helmi el Touni, a very special artist for traditional Egyptian art prosperity. We can find his illustrations on book covers for the Egyptian folklore fairy tales. His work reminds us of the old folk Egyptian drawing stories.

Working with cultural heritage that comes from people and belongs to people, his work resonate in our hearts. With his talent he extends folk art and brings it to the modern art scene passing this drawing storytelling tradition to next generations.
