Every project we’ve brought to life has carried Samaka Studio forward, shaping our style, our voice, and our place in the animation world.

Now feels like the right moment to pause, look back, and celebrate 10 projects that truly made waves along our journey, each leaving its mark and pulling us closer to where we are today.
Choosing just a handful from 8 years of work wasn’t easy. Every single project has pushed us to grow , making us sharper, faster, and more agile as a creative team.

We had the chance to contribute to the early visual development of #1 Happy Family USA, now streaming on Amazon.
Our team at Samaka Studio collaborated on some of the initial concept designs during the project’s early stages, exploring characters and backgrounds alongside the talented folks at Double Yew LLC and the creative team behind the series.
Our role focused on creating a couple of visual development frames to explore the look and feel of the environments for a Muslim Egyptian family living in the U.S.
It’s always inspiring to see a project evolve and take shape. Congratulations to everyone involved on bringing this vibrant world to life!

ANIMASYROS International Animation Festival, in collaboration with the ANNECY Festival and as part of the MIFA Pitch Partenaire, proudly presents the ANIMASYROS Mediterranean Spotlight - a vibrant showcase born from the MIFA Campus Pitching Workshop held during the Agora Pitching Forum 2024 on Syros Island, Greece.
This exciting initiative empowers emerging talents from the Mediterranean region - this year specifically from Greece, the Western Balkans (Serbia), Turkey, Egypt, and Morocco - offering them a unique opportunity to pitch their current projects in development and attract international partners.

The event is made possible with the support of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Institute, the French Institutes of Serbia, Morocco, Turkey, Egypt, and Greece, as well as SKY express, the Official Partner and Air Transport Sponsor.

Kamaroza stands bolder than ever. We’re proud to unveil the official poster as we pitch Kamaroza at the MIFA Pitches: Mediterranean Spotlight, presented by Animasyros Festival & Annecy.
We’re incredibly proud of how far this project has come in such record time. Our team’s unwavering dedication and passion have propelled the development of Kamaroza’s story, visual aesthetics, and art direction to new heights.
This 75-minute 2D feature follows Laila, a reckless 16-year-old girl craving more than her village life. When she meets the wandering storyteller Gambari, she’s swept into a magical tale. One where memory fades, identity slips away, and a dangerous beast must be defeated for her to find her way back home.

Wish us luck as we share this epic fantasy journey with the world.
