🌍💙 Arish Joined World Cleanup Day 2025! 💙🌍

This evening, we gathered at Qweider Beach – Arish for World Cleanup Day 2025, and it was amazing to see our community show up! 🙌

💪 In just 1 hour, with only 8 volunteers, we collected 13 heavy bags (12Kg each!) 🗑️♻️ — proof that even a small team can make a big difference.

But one moment really touched us: we found a turtle shell on the beach 🐢💔. A sad reminder of how pollution and human impact threaten marine life — and why our efforts to protect the sea truly matter. 🌊🌱

A big THANK YOU to HEPCA for launching this incredible nationwide initiative and connecting so many cities across Egypt for one shared cause. 🙏

🌍💙 العريش انضمت ليوم النظافة العالمي 2025! 💙🌍

مساء اليوم، تجمعنا على شاطئ قويدر – العريش للمشاركة في يوم النظافة العالمي 2025، وكان المشهد رائعًا! 🙌

💪 في ساعة واحدة فقط، ومع 8 متطوعين بس، قدرنا نجمع 13 كيس تقيل (كل كيس 12 كيلو) 🗑️♻️ — دليل إن حتى الفرق الصغيرة تقدر تعمل فرق كبير.

لكن أكتر لحظة لمستنا كانت لما لقينا صدفة سلحفاة على الشاطئ 🐢💔 … تذكار حزين عن إزاي التلوث والأثر البشري بيهدد حياتهم. وده بيأكد قد إيه دورنا مهم في حماية البحر والكائنات اللي فيه. 🌊🌱

شكر كبير لـ HEPCA على إطلاق المبادرة دي على مستوى مصر وربط مدن كتير لهدف واحد مشترك. 🙏

🌊🔥 إيه علاقة الحر والتلوث البلاستيكي بالبحر؟

في مصر الشهر ده درجات الحرارة وصلت لمستويات عالية جدًا، وده مش بس بيأثر علينا كبشر، لكن كمان بيضاعف خطورة التلوث في البحر:

🔹 البلاستيك بيتحلل أسرع مع الحر
لما درجة الحرارة تعلى، البلاستيك اللي مرمي في البحر أو على الشاطئ بيتكسر لقطع صغيرة جدًا (ميكروبلاستيك)، وده بيخلي الكائنات البحرية تبلعه بسهولة.

🔹 المواد السامة بتنتشر أسرع
الحر بيزود سرعة تحلل النفايات والبلاستيك، وبالتالي المواد الكيماوية السامة اللي بتطلع منه بتدوب في الميه أسرع وبتأثر على الأسماك والشعاب المرجانية.

🔹 الخطر بيرجع لينا
الأسماك اللي بتتغذى على الميكروبلاستيك أو بتتأثر بالسموم دي في النهاية بتوصل لينا على طبق الأكل، وده بيسبب مخاطر صحية كبيرة لينا كلنا.

♻️ إحنا الحل

متستخدمش بلاستيك لمرة واحدة (أكياس، كبايات، شكاير).

لو نزلت البحر أو الشاطئ، خليك حريص متسيبش وراك أي مخلفات.

شارك معانا في حملات تنظيف الشواطئ واحكي لغيرك عن الموضوع.

البحر حياتنا… ولو فقدناه هنفقد جزء كبير من صحتنا ومستقبل ولادنا.





🌊🔥 What is the connection between the heat and plastic pollution in the sea?

In Egypt, temperatures have reached extremely high levels this month, and this not only affects us as humans, but also increases the risk of pollution in the sea:

🔹 Plastic decomposes faster in the heat.
When temperatures rise, plastic thrown into the sea or on the beach breaks down into very small pieces (microplastic), making it easier for marine creatures to ingest it.

🔹 Toxic substances spread faster.
Heat speeds up the decomposition of waste and plastic, and as a result, the toxic chemicals released from them dissolve in the water more quickly and affect fish and coral reefs.

🔹 The danger is ours.

Fish that feed on microplastics or are affected by these toxins eventually reach us on our plates, posing significant health risks to all of us.

♻️ We are the solution.

Don't use single-use plastic (bags, cups, sacks).

If you go to the sea or beach, be careful not to leave any waste behind.

Participate in our beach clean-up campaigns and share the information with others.

The sea is our life... and if we lose it, we will lose a significant part of our health and the future of our children.

العريش أنظف بـ 10 أطنان من النفايات 🏖️

بأيادٍ متطوعين من أبناء سيناء، استطاعت مبادرة "البحر الأبيض" أن تنتزع النفايات من شواطئ المتوسط وتحمي بيئته من التلوث، مؤكدة أن حماية الكوكب مسؤولية مشتركة تبدأ من كل فرد.

🔥 صيفنا بيولع… والأرقام مش بتكدب!

📊 تعالوا نقارن بين آخر صيفين:

☀️ صيف 2024:

متوسط الحرارة على مستوى مصر: 32.8 °C بدل 29.2 °C الطبيعي.

أسوان كسرت كل الأرقام: 50.9 °C في الظل يوم 7 يونيو!

☀️ صيف 2025:

القاهرة 35 °C، والأقصر وأسوان حوالي 40 °C يوم 5 يونيو.

راس سدر حققت رقم قياسي جديد: 45.4 °C يوم 26 مايو.

⬆️ وده غير إن متوسط الحرارة في مصر بيزيد 0.38 °C كل 10 سنين (أسرع من المتوسط العالمي)، وفي السنين الأخيرة وصل لـ 0.53 °C كل عقد.

⚠️ النتيجة؟ موجات حر أطول وأقوى بتأثر على صحتنا، الزراعة، والمياه.

🚫 قلل استخدام البلاستيك
🌱 ازرع شجرة
⚡ شجع الطاقة النظيفة

🔥 Egypt’s Summers Are Getting Hotter… and the Numbers Don’t Lie!

📊 Let’s compare the last two summers:

☀️ Summer 2024:

National average temperature: 32.8 °C (instead of the usual 29.2 °C).

Aswan smashed records: 50.9 °C in the shade on June 7!

☀️ Summer 2025:

Cairo hit 35 °C, Luxor & Aswan around 40 °C on June 5.

Ras Sudr set a new record: 45.4 °C on May 26.

⬆️ Egypt’s average temperature is climbing by 0.38 °C per decade (faster than the global average) — and in recent years, it’s been closer to 0.53 °C per decade.

⚠️ The result? Longer, stronger heatwaves impacting health, agriculture, and water.

💡 The fixes are in our hands:

🌊🐬 عارف إنك ممكن تكون سبب في كارثة من غير ما تحس؟
زجاجة بلاستيك واحدة ممكن تفضل في البحر أكتر من 450 سنة!
طوال العمر ده، ممكن تقتل سلحفاة...
تخنق دولفين...
أو تتكسر لقطع صغيرة تاكلها الأسماك... وتوصل لأكلك انت!

🚫 البلاستيك مش بيروح من غير تمن.

إحنا بنرمي، والبحر بيدفع...
والكائنات البحرية بتختفي واحدة ورا التانية.
