ينعى مهرجان الأقصر للسينما الأفريقية واحدة من أيقونات الفن المصري والعربي، سيدة المسرح العربي الفنانة سميحة أيوب، التي رحلت عن عالمنا تاركة إرثًا فنيًا خالدًا ومسيرة حافلة بالعطاء والريادة.

لقد كانت سميحة أيوب نموذجًا للفنانة المثقفة الملتزمة، التي ساهمت في إثراء المسرح والسينما والتلفزيون على مدار أكثر من سبعة عقود.
سيظل حضورها راسخًا في وجداننا، وفنها حيًا في قلوب محبيها وجمهورها، يلهم أجيالًا قادمة من الفنانين.

Luxor African Film Festival (LAFF) to Celebrate the Centenary of Youssef Chahine in its 15th Edition
• A Special Focus on South African Cinema
• A Tribute to the Late Renowned Malian Director Souleymane Cissé

The Luxor African Film Festival (LAFF) has announced that its 15th edition, scheduled for the last week of March 2026, will be held under the theme “Youssef Chahine… An Egyptian Tale”, in celebration of the centenary of legendary Egyptian filmmaker Youssef Chahine (1926–2026), one of the most influential figures in Arab and world cinema.
Festival President, screenwriter Sayed Fouad, confirmed that this edition will feature a special program dedicated to Chahine, including the publication of a bilingual (Arabic-French) documentary book about his life, films, and cinematic legacy. The program will also include a major video art exhibition of his film posters and rare photographs from his life and work as an actor. In addition, four of Chahine’s most iconic, recently restored films will be screened—restored by Misr International Films as part of a project to revive his cinematic oeuvre.
The festival will also organize parallel screenings of these films in various African countries throughout 2026, along with special tributes to individuals who collaborated with Chahine in his films.
Festival Director Azza Elhosseiny announced a revamped edition of the “Special Focus” program, which will spotlight South African cinema this year in recognition of its rich history and evolving industry. The program will feature four films that mark key milestones in the development of South African cinema, alongside a reprint of a seminal book on the topic.
Elhosseiny also announced a special tribute to the late Malian filmmaker Souleymane Cissé (April 21, 1940 – February 19, 2025), whose works are milestones in African cinema history. Cissé had a close relationship with the Luxor Festival, where he had previously been honored and had several of his films screened during his lifetime. A number of his films won awards at prestigious international festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival. On this occasion, the festival will publish a special bulletin about his life and work.
Since its establishment in 2011, the Luxor African Film Festival has played a pivotal role in strengthening cultural ties between Egypt and African nations, and in supporting African cinema through specialized screenings, curated programs, and institutional partnerships.
The festival is organized by the Independent Artists Youth Foundation, with honorary president actor Mahmoud Hemida, and producer-distributor Gaby Khoury serving as head of the festival’s high committee. It is held in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministries of Culture, Tourism & Antiquities, Foreign Affairs, and Youth & Sports, and is sponsored by the National Bank of Egypt, the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority, Kemet for Peace and Knowledge, Afreximbank, the Syndicate of Cinematic Professions, and Luxor Governorate.

مهرجان الأقصر للسينما الأفريقية يحتفي بمئوية يوسف شاهين في دورته الـ 15

أعلن مهرجان الأقصر للسينما الأفريقية أن دورته الخامسة عشرة، المقررة في الأسبوع الأخير من مارس 2026، ستُقام تحت شعار" يوسف شاهين.. حدوتة مصرية"، وذلك احتفاءً بمئوية ميلاد المخرج المصري العالمي يوسف شاهين (1926 /2026)، أحد أبرز روّاد السينما العربية والعالمية.

وأكد السيناريست سيد فؤاد، رئيس المهرجان، أن هذه الدورة ستخصص برنامجًا خاصًا ليوسف شاهين، يشمل إصدار كتاب توثيقي باللغتين العربية والفرنسية عن يوسف شاهين، حياته، أفلامه، ومدرسته السينمائية، كما سيقام معرض كبير بالفيديو آرت لأفيشات أفلامه وفوتوغرافيا خاصة بحياته وأعماله كممثل، كما ستُعرض أربعة من أبرز أفلامه المرمّمة، والتي قامت شركة أفلام مصر العالمية بترميمها ضمن مشروع إعادة إحياء أعماله.
وستقوم إدارة المهرجان بتنظيم عروض موازية لهذه الأفلام في عدد من الدول الأفريقية خلال عام 2026، إلى جانب تكريمات خاصة لأسماء تعاونت مع شاهين في أفلامه المختلفة.

من جانبها، كشفت المخرجة عزة الحسيني، مديرة المهرجان، عن تطوير برنامج "نظرة خاصة" هذا العام ليُخصص للسينما في دولة جنوب أفريقيا، احتفاءً بتاريخها العريق وتطور صناعتها السينمائية، وسيتضمن البرنامج عرض أربعة أفلام تمثل محطات مهمة في تطور السينما الجنوب أفريقية، بالإضافة إلى إعادة طبع كتاب مرجعي حول هذه السينما.
كما أعلنت الحسيني عن تقديم تكريم خاص لاسم المخرج المالي الراحل سليمان سيسيه (21 أبريل 1940 – 19 فبراير 2025)، الذي تُعد أعماله من العلامات البارزة في تاريخ السينما الأفريقية. وكان سيسيه من الأصدقاء المقربين لمهرجان الأقصر، حيث سبق تكريمه وعرض عدد من أفلامه خلال حياته. وقد نال العديد من الجوائز من مهرجانات دولية، من بينها مهرجان كان السينمائي. وسيصدر المهرجان نشرة خاصة عنه بهذه المناسبة.

ويواصل مهرجان الأقصر للسينما الأفريقية، منذ تأسيسه في 2011، دوره المحوري في تعزيز العلاقات الثقافية بين مصر والدول الأفريقية، ودعم صناعة السينما الأفريقية من خلال العروض والبرامج المتخصصة والشراكات المؤسسية.
يقام المهرجان بتنظيم من مؤسسة شباب الفنانين المستقلين، ويترأسه شرفيًا النجم محمود حميدة، بينما يرأس لجنته العليا المنتج والموزّع جابي خوري. ويُقام بالتعاون مع وزارات الثقافة، السياحة والآثار، الخارجية، الشباب والرياضة، وبرعاية البنك الأهلي المصري، الهيئة المصرية العامة لتنشيط السياحة، كيميت للسلام والمعرفة، أفريكسيم بنك، نقابة المهن السينمائية، ومحافظة الأقصر.

Le Festival de Louxor du Film Africain a annoncé que sa 15e édition, prévue pour la dernière semaine de mars 2026, se tiendra sous le thème : « Youssef Chahine… Un conte égyptien », à l’occasion du centenaire de la naissance du célèbre cinéaste égyptien Youssef Chahine (1926–2026), l’une des figures les plus marquantes du cinéma arabe et mondial.
Le président du festival, le scénariste Sayed Fouad, a confirmé qu’un programme spécial sera dédié à Chahine. Celui-ci comprendra la publication d’un livre documentaire bilingue (arabe-français) retraçant sa vie, ses films et son héritage cinématographique. Un grand espace d’exposition vidéo-art sera également consacré à ses affiches de films ainsi qu’à des photographies rares de sa vie et de sa carrière d’acteur. Quatre de ses films les plus emblématiques, récemment restaurés par la société Misr International Films dans le cadre d’un projet de valorisation de son œuvre, seront projetés.
Le festival prévoit également d’organiser, tout au long de l’année 2026, des projections parallèles de ces films dans plusieurs pays africains, ainsi que des hommages rendus aux artistes et techniciens ayant collaboré avec Chahine.
La directrice du festival, Azza Elhosseiny, a dévoilé une nouvelle formule du programme « Focus spécial », qui mettra cette année à l’honneur le cinéma sud-africain, en reconnaissance de son histoire riche et de l’évolution de son industrie. Le programme comprendra la projection de quatre films marquant des étapes clés de ce cinéma, ainsi que la réédition d’un ouvrage de référence sur le sujet.
Azza Elhosseiny a également annoncé un hommage particulier au réalisateur malien Souleymane Cissé (21 avril 1940 – 19 février 2025), dont les œuvres constituent des jalons majeurs du cinéma africain. Proche du festival de Louxor, Cissé avait été honoré de son vivant, et plusieurs de ses films y ont été projetés. Il a remporté de nombreux prix dans de grands festivals internationaux, notamment à Cannes. Une publication spéciale lui sera consacrée à cette occasion.
Depuis sa création en 2011, le Festival de Louxor du Film Africain de Louxor joue un rôle essentiel dans le renforcement des liens culturels entre l’Égypte et les pays africains, et dans le soutien au cinéma africain à travers des projections, des programmes spécialisés et des partenariats institutionnels.
Le festival est organisé par la Fondation des Jeunes Artistes Indépendants, avec pour président d’honneur l’acteur Mahmoud Hemida, et le producteur et distributeur Gaby Khoury à la tête du comité supérieur du festival. Il est organisé en collaboration avec les ministères égyptiens de la Culture, du Tourisme et des Antiquités, des Affaires étrangères, de la Jeunesse et des Sports, et bénéficie du soutien de la Banque Nationale d’Égypte, de l’Autorité Égyptienne de Promotion du Tourisme, de Kemet pour la Paix et le Savoir, de l’Afreximbank, du Syndicat des Métiers du Cinéma, et de la Gouvernorat de Louxor.

عرض فيلم " ديسكو أفريقيا " في نادي السينما الأفريقية بسينما الهناجر.. السبت 3 مايو

يعاود نادي السينما الأفريقية نشاطه بسينما الهناجر يوم السبت المقبل 3 مايو الساعة السابعة مساء بعرض فيلم " ديسكو افريقيا: قصة مدغشقر " إخراج لوك رزانا جاونا، وهو الفيلم الحاصل علي جائزة لجنة التحكيم الخاصة من مهرجان الأقصر للسينما الأفريقية في دورته الرابعة عشرة .

"ديسكو أفريقيا : قصة مدغشقر" هو فيلم روائي تدور أحداثه حول كوامي، شاب في العشرين من عمره، يكافح لكسب عيشه من خلال العمل في مناجم الياقوت السرية، وفي خطوة غير متوقعة، يعود إلى مسقط رأسه حيث والدته وأصدقاؤه القدامى، ويجد كوامي نفسه في مواجهة الفساد الذي يعصف ببلاده، ويضطر لاتخاذ العديد من الخيارات المصيرية، والفيلم تبلغ مدته 81 دقيقة.

نادي السينما الأفريقية يقيمه مهرجان الأقصر للسينما الأفريقية برئاسة السيناريست سيد فؤاد، بالتعاون مع صندوق التنمية الثقافية برئاسة المعماري حمدي السطوحي، ويقام في يوم السبت من الأسبوع الأول من كل شهر بسينما الهناجر .

وجدير بالذكر ان مخرج فيلم " ديسكو أفريقيا " لوك رزاناجاونا مخرج سينمائي شاب من مدغشقر ولد سنة 1985 وتخرج من المدرسة العليا للفنون البصرية بمراكش سنة 2011. من أجل تطوير مشاريع أفلامه، شارك في عدة برامج وورشات، منها مختبر المواهب لمهرجان برلين، ومختبر مهرجان روتردام، ومختبر La Fabrique des Cinémas du Monde بمهرجان كان. تم اختيار أفلامه القصيرة في العديد من المهرجانات حول العالم وفازت بجائزة في المهرجان الإفريقي للسينما والتلفزيون في واغادوغو (فيسباكو). بدعم من المركز الوطني للسينما والصورة المتحركة والمعهد الفرنسي، تم اختياره في ورشة الكتابة مولان دوندي من أجل تطوير مشروع فيلمه الطويل غناء تلوس. يعمل حاليا على مشروع فيلم ديسكو إفريقيا، وهو أول فيلم روائي طويل له من إنتاج We Film .
