الاقصر للسينما الافريقية يطلق استمارة قبول الأفلام لدورته الرابعة عشرة
* المهرجان ينطلق 9 يناير 2025 ويستمر حتي 14 من نفس الشهر
* دورة جديدة لمهرجان الأقصر برئاسة شرفية للنجم الكبير محمود حميدة
صرح السيناريست سيد فؤاد مؤسس ورئيس مهرجان الأقصر للسينما الأفريقية بان المهرحان أطلق استمارة قبول الأفلام فى المسابقات الاربعة الرئيسية، وهي مسابقة الافلام الطويلة ( روائية وتسجيلية وتحريك ) وهى الافلام التى تتجاوز مدتها 60 دقيقة، ومسابقة الافلام القصيرة ( تسجيلى / روائى / تحريك ) على أن تكون الأفلام فى المسابقتين لمخرجين أفارقة، وهناك أيضا مسابقة افلام الشتات ( الدياسبورا ) للافلام الطويلة الروائية / التسجيلية، وهى للمخرجين الأفارقة المقيمين خارج القارة ويصنعون أفلام عن أفريقيا بعيون عالمية، وهناك أيضا المسابقة القومية لأفلام الطلبة المصريين من دراسى السينما فى مصر.
كما اعلنت المخرجة عزة الحسينى مؤسس ومدير المهرجان أن الدورة الرابعة عشرة سوف تقام فى الفترة من 9 الى 14 يناير 2025 بمدينة الاقصر جنوب مصر، وقد بدأ استقبال الأفلام على موقع المهرجان من اول أغسطس و يستمر حتى 30 اكتوبر 2024 ، على أن تكون جميع الأفلام المقدمة من إنتاج عام 2024 ولم يسبق عرضها فى مصر.
مهرجان الأقصر للسينما الأفريقية الرئيس الشرفي لدورته المقبلة النجم الكبير محمود حميدة، وتنظمه مؤسسة شباب الفنانين المستقلين للدعم والتنمية، وهى منظمة مدنية غير هادفة للربح، ويقام المهرجان بالشراكة مع وزارات الثقافة والسياحة والآثار والشباب والرياضة والخارجية المصرية وبالتعاون مع محافظة الأقصر وبرعاية نقابة السينمائين والبنك الاهلى المصرى
وشركة أفلام مصر العالمية.
Luxor African Film Festival (LAFF) launches the Application Form
for the 14th edition to be held from January 9 to 14, 2025
Cairo – July 30, 2024
Screenwriter Sayed Fouad, founder and president of the Luxor African Film Festival (LAFF), announced that the application form for films in the four main competitions of festival has been launched:
1. Long Film Competition (Narrative, Documentary, and Animation) – Films exceeding 60 minutes.
2. Short Film Competition (Narrative, Documentary, and Animation)
Films for both of these two above mentioned competitions must be directed by African filmmakers.
3. Diaspora Films Competition (Narrative or Documentary Long Films) – For African directors residing outside the continent or films about Africa from a global perspective.
4. National Student Films Competition – For films by Egyptian cinema students.
The festival will start accepting films on its website www.luxorafricanfilmfestival.com from August 1, 2024, until October 30, 2024. All submitted films must be produced in 2024 and must not have been previously screened in Egypt.
Director Azza Elhosseiny, founder and executive director of the festival, also announced that the 14th edition will be held from January 9 to 14, 2025, in the city of Luxor, Upper-Egypt. The festival is organized by the Independent Shabab Foundation for Support and Development, a non-profit civil organization, in partnership with the Egyptian Ministries of Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, Youth and Sports, and Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with Luxor Governorate, and under the sponsorship of the Film Syndicate, the National Bank of Egypt, and Misr International Films.
